Do not drink the Kool-Aid:

Day 2,904, 08:32 Published in USA USA by Jimmy Cincinnati

Issue #102

Letters from a congressman:

SOH:
After a tie, another election was set to decide who will be the next Speaker of House; Resoula or Rainy Sunday. Here is the final outcome:
Resoula: 18
Rainy Sunday: 23

Proposals:
There was, also; a proposal to lower taxes, a proposal to start an account for defense only and a rouge proposal for money.
Voting took place in private. I'm not allowed to say how it went, but you can tell that nothing has changed.

War:
Everyday, when I log-on, there are new proposals. I find out at the same time as everyone else. Congress is not consulted for matters that involve war or peace. The President used to convince congress that war was a good idea, but the dictator doesn't need to consult with congress. (Congress can't vote.)

Your Public Servant; GoTJ.

Political Commentary:

SFB-BS, or the Imaginary Block:
Despite the fact that it doesn't exist, Oblige and Israel Stevens are trolling congress and eRepublik with this propaganda. Until recently, SFP only had two or three congress members. The sample group of two, was used to demonstrate that we had a party protocol. I think that judgement was unfair.
AMP USWP and WTP all share the same forum. Are we expected to entertain the thought that they don't work together. In fact; it took some cooperation to get them all on the same forum.
(Just saying; the pot is calling the kettle black.)

PotUS Race:
It's that time again. Time for the new and returning citizens, with suspicious amounts of information. Arm yourself with this knowledge.
This presidential race is heating up like none that I've seen since the John Largo ran against DMJ.
I'm sure the establishment isn't happy about it, but it's entertaining. (For most of us.)
Now, it's safe to assume that most people will vote for their friends and this is no exception. However, I have plenty of reasons that are more relevant to the game:
#1. Integrity: I have never seen anyone beat Pfeiffer's choice. I'm convinced that there is no integrity left in voting or the executive branch.
#2. Boredom: I don't know what the future holds and that's what keeps me logging on. I'm not sure what WO will accomplish in his 8th term that he couldn't do in the other 7, but it's looks like he wants more safety protocol.
#3. Elitism: WO supporters are pointing out the past achievements, as if they WO was indispensable. Well he was gone, when we became an empire.
#4. Consistancy: WO quits and returns. Yet he is able to go strait into the dictatorship. Whenever someone quits and returns; I need to see some proof that it's, really, them.
Also, it hurts morale. Some of our dictators are only two months into the game and they are claiming the main prize. Hell, the only prize left, since the dictatorship took effect.

I'll be voting for the King of all Social Media. I'll vote Jude Conners for President.
