CP Update #2

Day 2,374, 12:14 Published in Ireland Ireland by mirek12345

Hello dear citizens,

It's time for another update, so let me inform you what the government has been upto lately. It was a bit quiet in the start of my term, but now we've went a gear up and Ireland got involved in many actions

Defence

This has been the busiest department in my opinion (Although MoE and MoC weren't far off). I've been in touch with An Sluagh and Seanan constantly and we've come up with some plans. First off, as Seanan already informed you, we will have a bit of a bonding with Mexico through a joint military operation. It will be good for socializing between our people and building better relations. This action will take place on the 24th at 1600 erep time on #Mexire if you use irc. I hope I'll see you there.

Operation Irish Korea
Another operation that we got involved in is the liberation of eSouth Korea. They have been without a congress for 2 years and they've asked us to help them. Ireland agreed to rent 2 regions to eSK in order for them to have a secure congress. They'll be paying a certain monthly fee for this. The government and later the congress both agreed to this. The first part of the plan is going great so far, but we must remain focused. EDIT NOTE : The regions that will be rented are Cork and Wexford, the rental fee will be equal to the amount of tax we lose because of the rent + 10k CC per region, so 20k CC . I was first in favour of a higher fee, but after some talks with my government I was convinced this sum is acceptable

Education

Mr. Tayto has continued with the government project of handing out food to citizens in need and has been successful in doing so as well. He has given out 84,000 energy worth of food in the first round of his work (Project's third round) and it appears that he'll be doing just about the same again in the 4th round of the food project that is going on now.

Foreign Affairs

As mentioned before, through the action with Mexico and cooperation with it's allies Ireland continues to strengthen its relations within the alliance, but we're also showing that we're willing to help those who really need help through the project Irish Korea by helping liberate eSK

Community

Raven Anarcho and Foxfire are also continuing to work tirelessly in the Community department with the second editions of Ireland's Funniest Home Videos and the eIrish quiz coming out (or coming out soon). I'm sure the guys will continue to provide a good source of entertainment for the citizens of eIreland until the end of the term.

That'd be all for today, thank you for your time

Yours truly,

Mirek
