Hello all.

Today we are at war.

In the past the UK and Ireland were not the closest of friends. We have had our differences but that is in the past. For the past year the UK and Ireland have grown closer through hard work and trust building.

So when the UK had our back recently it was much appreciated here in Ireland.

So when Ireland saw that our neighbor was under attack we didn’t think twice. My Cabinet discussed our options and brought them before the Dail. With an overwhelming approval we decided to help our friend and ally even knowing that Argentina is vastly more powerful than both the UK and Ireland. We know we will probably get wiped. But that didn’t change a thing.

So Ireland is now at war with Argentina.

I am proud of our nation. We did what friends do. We help our friends no matter the consequences.

Coordination between the UK military and the Irish Army is ongoing. We have a tough fight ahead. We will do our best.
