CONGRESS... THIS IS YOUR FIRST URGENT ORDER OF BUSINESS
Training wars are only legitimate when there is an agreement between the two countries. New Congressman, Seppl von Wand, has proposed Austria as a Natural Enemy. Doing so without an agreement by both countries is an open act of aggression and a declaration of war ! In proposing such a law, this congressman oversteps his authority and I can only think that there must be some corporate interests involved !
Austria's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Vice President, Rangeley, says:
...Earlier this month, the Swiss and Austrian governments reached an agreement to begin a training war. At this time, both parties have agreed to close the training war. The first step in this process was to remove NE status, as NE status prevents peace from being signed. The second step in this process is, naturally, to sign peace. The peace proposal has been approved 17-0 by the Austrian congress. It now is before the Swiss congress and hope it can pass this as well.
I urge you to vote NO to this Law Proposal !

Furthermore, President Vreath of Austria, has proposed a Peace Agreement in our congress. As their friend and neighbor, I urge Congress to approve this Peace Proposal by voting YES.
These are important matters and the first urgent business of our NEW congress. Switzerland and Austria are both small countries that depend on each other for survival in the tumultuous European theatre. They are our close friend and ally.
Switzerland and Austria need each other. Let's not betray them or by doing so betray ourselves.

That's why I support MPP with Canada. There are too many things that can go wrong with this training war with Austria.
Wasting 10k local currency on a MPP...the straight and uncomplicated way would just be to get the congress in control, and not to panic neighbouring countries by random NE proposals. We, Austria, are as you a neutral country, and we do not intend to harm our neighbours in any way, so you should just get your own politics done and do not look on the others.

@Rican: Well we had quite a few crisis' during last month regarding this training war. Some battles were won that should have been lost, some attacks were initiated on wrong territories or at a wrong time, and all the time there is jeopardy that some medal hunters could mess up the whole war.
Getting MPP with Canada (or anyone else for that matter) would mean that we could participate in wars, get xp and ranks without risking to antagonize our neighbors.
MPP costs money and it is not so much fun compared to your own war.
Natural Enemy also gives training bonus.
War with Austria was a positive experience.
I have to agree with Migrant. A TW with a NE is way better than a MPP that costs money, isn't as much fun and don't gives bonus in training.

I agree that TW was fun, but to get the bonuses, we can vote anyone who is at war with Canada for NE as well. And MPP's can (obviously) be payed in local currency now, which we now have more than enough...
We have enough money due to the SCB has paid, but we will not use it till the SNB has paid its 60 000 CHF also.

I really don't understand while my name is mentioned in some of the comments, but I'll try to be on the subject. I remember that one Clifford Burns along with Milan and Mali (amongst others) tanked for SCB's money during German occupation, and you weren't the most powerful Swiss citizens by far.
And I DO support the merger of the banks, even though I'm a member of SCR. I'm just pointing out that both parties are faulty.
