President of South Africa proposed a mutual protection pact with Brazil

Representative Congress calls for the input of South Africa's citizens before we pass our final vote for or against a renewal of our alliance with Brazil. There has been no public discussion, so we call for your submissions over the next 20 hours.

I bring this matter forward since none of our current alliance have been discussed for blanket approval. I ask you to consider:

1. the difficulty in a country the size of South Africa getting alliance,
2. the strategic value of neighbours being allied and the implicit threat of destruction of MPP stacks should SA be attacked,
3. the impact on strategic interests,
4. the cost vs benefits of MPP in general
