Citizen B for Congress - Prince Edward Island - DAL

Hello to Prince Edward Islanders and all Canadians in these trying and ambitious times. With this release of the Independent eDaily News, I am officially announcing my run for re-election in Congress for the Province of Prince Edward Island under the Democratic Action League (DAL) ticket. Having already served as Member of Congress, and because of my other qualifications to be discussed, I have the experience and ability to help lead Canada during both this period of war and rebuilding. We are poised on the edge of a great moment in eCanadian history. Like the Pheonix, Canada has risen from the ashes of war and despair. But, with our fragile economy and fragile defense, we are teetering precariously on this razor's edge. I shall waste no time and get right to priorities by discussing my views on the eCanadian future:

Defense, Security and the rebirth of Canada – Since the invasion and outright capture of our beloved peaceful and sovereign eCanada by PEACE member states, including great Britain, France, Hungary and Iran, eCanada has valiantly fought back to regain a foothold on our own soil and restore five provinces that are rightfully ours. Ordinary, peaceful, hard-working Canadians who have fled the wanton and murderous destruction are now yearning to return to our homeland. It is time to restore Canada, re-build her infrastructure, defend the provinces we have and regain the provinces we have lost. This is no small task and will require the efforts of all Canadians especially those in a position of influence, such as I would be as your returning Member of Congress.

We are still threatened by PEACE. All of our actions must be in that context lest we risk losing the gains we have made. We will never forget the treacherous and traitorous British who deviously planned with Hungary and other PEACE nations to divide up our soil. And we will never forget the opportunistic French, who aided and assisted PEACE, murdering our citizens, putting boots on our soil, and stealing the land that was rightfully our. We will not forget our allies who suffer right now under the PEACE onslought. Likewise, we will not forget the Cobra terrorist organization who portend to be patriots, but who in reality sold off Canada’s most secret military documents to those who would do us harm to satisfy their greed and divide our country.

We must continue to protect Canada and all her provinces - at all costs - from the enemies perched at our doorstep. I will continue to work with our President, our military leaders, our Ministry of Foreign Affairs and our Allies to win back our provinces that are still in enemy hands, and help our allies to do the same. It is my goal to turn back this murderous, fascist horde. I stand by my previous words that I will give my life for eCanada if that is what it takes. And I will work with our government to be ever vigilant in rooting out enemy spies, government moles and traitorous citizens. Supporting the CAF and our allied forces will continue to be our most important mission. I will ensure that our government will continue to build and retain strong global alliances. Our defense depends vitally on the military help of our allies. And for those cowards who advocate surrender and switching over to the dark side of PEACE, I say to you to get out of eCanada. Iran and Turkey are looking for new citizens, and I urge you to move there now, as it is unlikely that France, Hungary or Indonesia would provide citizenship passes for spinless scum like yourselves. Citizen B has have ALWAYS said NO to PEACE. ALWAYS.



My Qualifications Who is Citizen B? The following are my accomplishments since I have started playing eRepublik:

- Current Canadian Member of Congress. I had run and won Congressman duties in Alberta last term. Since then, I have been extremely active in the eCanada forums. I have helped Canada win back our provinces and continue to help plan our future. I have placed two successful bills in Congress to lower tariffs and taxes to help jumpstart our economy and rebuild for the future. As Member of Congress, I have also have also helped countless new Canadian citizens learn how to fight, heal and play the game for success.

- Current Minister of Industries. Since the last presidential elections, I have been a cabinet member for the second term. I took the Ministry of Industries and the eleven companies owned by the Canadian government and begun the rebuilding effort. All of the companies were shuttered. Without any government funding, I picked these industries up by their bootstraps, and slowly have jumpstarted them and the eCanadian economy. I focused on industries that would help our war effort out first - iron and weapons - and have brought these companies back to life producing weapons for our fight. I have taken two companies and using slave labor from the Iranians and French, and have made them productive, producing arms and hospitals for eCanada. I am proud to say that the Ministry of Industries has completed one Q5 hospital already, and is on its way towards producing a second. As of now, we have more than half of the Crown companies operating and providing jobs for Canadians, and products and profit for eCanada. The rest of the companies are located in captured Canadian territory, and we will bring them online as our provinces are secured.

- Current eCanadian Ambassador to eRomania, one of our most important allies. I maintain contacts within the Romanian Government and Military and have helped bring the Romanian elite soldiers here to Canada to fight help defend our beloved nation. I have also set up an office in the eCanada forums with up-to-date contact and status information of all current Romanian government posts and military groups.

- Current CAF reserves soldier – I have quickly achieved the rank of Colonel through my heroic actions defending Canada and supporting our allies on the battlefield.

- Former Minister of Citizenship and Immigration (CI) – Under my skilled management CI implemented a program to bring foreign fighters to eCanada to help in our defense and bolster the populations of our most important provinces. We also sucessfully carried out a program to evacuate hundreds of eCanadian citizens trapped behind enemy lines.

- Former DAL Party President – Running for DAL PP for the first time, I garnered over 90% of the votes (200 in all) in the DAL PP elections due to my efforts at coaching new Canadians to become healthy, successful players contributing to eCanada.

- Current DAL party Recruitment Committee Chairperson – Under my leadership, we had grown the DAL party by 1000% in less than two months and had made DAL the largest party in eCanada.

- A friend to eCanada and the world. In my short time here, I have made many friends in this eWorld, over 1000 to date.

- I run successful private businesses, an organization and a newspaper. And I have been active in the eCanada forums, the DAL forums and irc.

In short, I am highly motivated, ambitious, ethical and driven. I am not power hungry. I plan to continue to devote my hard work and dedication to my duties as a Congressmen of Canada. I will run an honest, ethical, clean political campaign. I am as qualified, if not more qualified, than my worthy opponents in this race.

Platform As a team, DAL put together the following platform that benefits all Canadians that we continue to follow in times of war and peace. I have adopted this platform wholeheartedly, and should I be re-elected to Congress, I will endeavor to carry out my duties to all Canadians, according to the values expressed in the DAL party platform that I urge you all to rea😛

Additional major points of my platform that I will be focusing on during my second term are as follows:

Economics - Due to the ravages that war has brought, our economy is growing and frail. Well-paying jobs are not plentiful. There are not enough industries to support and grow the Canadian economy. Prices for goods are high. Raw materials are scarce, driving prices up further. The value of the loonie in gold is near an all-time low. We still need to make the iron and weapons that eCanada and our allies need to fight, yet the companies are not being created. As Minister of Industries, and as a private businessman, I have built on my economic knowledge to add an understanding of exactly what steps must be made to continue the rapid development of our fragile economy. As Congressman, I will endeavor to ensure that the proper steps are taken to grow our economy and avoid disruption.

One of my major goals is to get more Canadians to return and work hard and have more Canadian businesses profiting, so that we will have more income to support the CAF and other government organizations. We will do so by having well paying jobs, and rebuilding our infrastructure and marketplace.

Government reform - we have made some strides in improvement to the Canadian government since the pre-war administrations, but we still have a lot more work to do. The Cobra situation and enemy PTO and spying attempts have shown that we must remain ever vigilant. We still have Hungarians with Canadian citizenship and voting as Members of Congress. It time to keep the rift-raft out of our government, keep the qualified Congresspeople we have (like your's truly) and bring new dedicated Canadian citizens into office. As we emerge from this war, I will support increased governmental openness by ensuring that non-sensitive topics be held in open congressional debate in the Canadian forums.



Other foreign affairs - To keep our power in this world and to keep tabs on our friends and enemies alike, Canada should have an working ambassador in every country.In the past this has been a problem. Under our new MoFA, Derek Harland, we have been implementing this effort. I have worked with Derek and encouraged him to make major strides in the improvement of the quality and number of our foreign service personnel. Clear evidence of this can be found by visiting the eCanada Center and seeing many new ambassadorial offices have been set up. As congressman, I will continue to ensure that we improve our ambassadorial offices and diplomatic communications with other countries, so that we can avoid future surprises like what happened with the eUK situation, allowing Hungary to invade Scotland, sparking this war. We will continue work on developing alliances, to help secure our borders and keeping eCanada safe and strong.

New Canadian Citizens - every DAL presentation must contain a discussion of our new citizens. Canada has needed new citizens as we never have has before. While the population of our enemy, eFrance, is booming; the number of new Canadians trickles in mostly due to our loss of some of our most important and populous provinces. We need to bring new citizens in and coach them to being successful and health players in the game. These new citizens are the defense and lifeblood of our great nation of Canada. They are the workers we need to grow our markets. They are the business owners we need to grow our economy. They are the newspaper writers we need to educate, entertain, and grow our diversity. They are the voters we need to ensure government accountability. They are our future politicians we need to improve our government and continue to build our great society. And they are the CAF soldiers we need to join in battle and strenghten Canada against our current and future threats. I have spent countless hours contacting our new citizens through my activities as Congressman, the Minister of Immigration and the DAL Recruitment Committee Chairperson. I will continue to work to see that our new members are learning how to be successful at eRepublik so that they don't become frustrated and leave. I urge you to vote for me to ensure that we don't forget about; and we don't fail these new citizens. Because if we do - we fail Canada itself.



If you know me by now, you at least know one thing - Citizen B always gives his 100%, and then some, to whatever efforts he is involved in. I will continue to do so for the good of eCanada as I have done before. I am as serious as a heart attack. You can see that right here in the time, effort and thought that I put into this presentation. I will continue to put my energy and drive to work hard in Congress to continue to ensure we defeat our enemies and keep Canada the country in this eWorld that it rightfully should be - number one.
