Cesog-fillireb: In From the Cold

Many of you are aware that several weeks ago cesog-fillireb was outed as
a PEACE spy and he fled to the Netherlands. I am publishing this
message from him here as he was working undercover for an intelligence
agency not associated with the US government. Cesog has been my friend
in eRepublik since damn near day one. He asked for my assistance in
burning his reputation here in the US so that he could be planted in
PEACE's hierarchy to do undercover intelligence gathering.

Cesog informed me last week that while he was effective in his duties he
could not stand the fact that so many of his friends here in the US were
flaming him in private. He asked me to assist him in bringing him back
and I told him I would. I am asking the US citizenry to accept him with
open arms. He was undercover and providing our intelligence agencies
with valuable data about PEACE activities. Cesog is a patriot and wants
to come home. Here are his comments, published without editing:

Dear Americans,

First off, I would like to say that those of you who have heard of me
are wrong. Your notions about my allegiances are wrong. I am not an
accused spy. I am not an accused traitor. Rather, I am a deep cover spy
sent into PEACE to try and help the US. My time there is over, and I
have learned quite a bit. Not about PEACE, but about people as a whole.
When I was first cast out, I received a multitude of PMs from people, of
which there were two types.

The first type, exampled below:

ZOMG!!11!1 You ****ing traitor spai. I trusted j00. How u do ths 2 me?
you a**hole!11!11!!11one!11!11

Considering the fact that I was not a spy, and therefore there was
little to no evidence of my being one, this PM is both sad and scary.
The fact that people will believe the word of a rumor over the facts is
horrifying. I watch a TV show, Bones, where the main character cares
about the truth, and the facts. She doesn't believe anything unless she
has proof of it. Those who sent me those PMs, had no proof.

The second type, exampled below:

Cesog, care to explain what is going on? I always thought of you as a
trustworthy guy, and I don't understand.

This PM was much more intelligent. Instead of instantly landing blame on
me, the person asked. I had to give them the honest answer of, "Hey
mate, I don't really know, they are blaming me for spying. I am not.
btw"

My experiences were very mixed. The people who I hung out with over the
IRC were much friendlier than I expected. Because of this, I would like
to give out a few apologies.

Dishmcds-I know most people think you are an asshole, but I enjoyed your
company. I was your "spai" and you had no clue how close to the truth
you were. I hope your eRetirement is great, and that you won't hate me
too much.

Heymans-When we first met, you were an absoluter arseface. But when I
joined PEACE, you were actually a nice, albeit...very heymans-like. I
hope you also do not hate me, and that we can still be friends.

GF- You are a failure. But kind of funny.

Digby- I cannot exactly write anything here, but I am putting your name
so you don't feel left out.

Since I am way too lazy to write the other names, I would just like to
add that you guys really proved to me that this game is just that. A
game. I had lots of fun with all of you, and pleeease do not hate me.


America. I am now back to you guys, and watching you guys suffer defeat
after defeat was painful. Hold on, and maybe you guys learned the lesson
that PEACE wanted you to learn. The US is NOT invincible, and we should
all be much nicer and considerate to the other nations of the world. And
don't keep hating the eUK. They did what they thought was best for their
country, and judging the situation, they happened to be correct.
