can you explain to me something ?
ComputerSpeaker
so i want to hire workers, so i put a job offer above the rest.
i get several employees
i then get several messages from new employees asking me to fire them.
why did they apply for my job if they want to be fired?
and why do they think it is a huge deal when i tell them no, the them not working hurts me?
when i hire, i need to hire twice as many as i want long term because, about 1/4 only work one day then the next 1/4 work two days. if i am lucky enough to have someone work three whole days in a row it is a miracle!
so why does some one want me to waste my time firing them when they are doing absolutly nothing for me.
i wish the game made a rule you have to work 7 days for someone before you can leave. so if the person works one day then goes afk for 7 i can adjust their salary to one and then they have to work at what i choose them to work at until the complete 7 days where by then they can find a new job. to discourage random job joining, and afking and thinking not working punishes the employer.
when you are dealing with 70 work hours a day. one person who is not working is part of the 140 work force. and so i not going to spend any time expect the fun i get annoying that person.
sorry i am venting. does anyone else have this problem? or no one hires more than 100 at a time?

I had the opposite happen. I was just experimenting and posted jobs @ $1 and tried to accept it. But was not allowed to hire myself. I just left it there and a new player accepted it. I offered to fire him since I assume he accepted by accident. I got no response and even sent him cash from the sales - but was never accepted so I assume he has quit the game.

this situation was somewhat "not normal" as my job-offer back then wasn't the highest on job market too and these still applied ( it wasn't as low as yours though )
Here is the profile link of the worker http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/8072065
hm, so i guess i should always have job offers at one dollar, just in case someone thinks i am a commune for his mu!
some work for the day then find a higher paid job (= oh wow 1cc more!!!!) and quit the old job to then quickly get the new "good one" - in which they can't work for that day because they already done so for someone else
when they log in the next day they see that there is an even better job (= 50cent more than your offer) and so they might ask you to fire them
+ it is normal that many people don't work everyday - was not uncommon even in the days without managerworking. just hire many people and fire the ones who work too infrequently / keep the peopl who work often/everyday
and yes i think some people think that not working can be used a punishment... don't ask me why
why do they think that? lol ha, well i did for a while think that i till paid the employee if they did not work! silly me, now i realized i can even store work hours, so who cares if i hire too many, or too few, it averages out. when i need more i fire all that have not worked the last seven days and hire 200.
All the steady employees are in communes I guess. It's where I'm at (for SHIELD)
i took ur job offer i work daily
