Brothers in Arms Tournament [EZC Media]
Bucephalus92
Greetings fellow Americans and EZC soldiers.
As you probably expect, the focus this issue will be on the recent Brothers in Arms tournament.
EZC is proud to announce that it was achieved great success in the Brothers and Arms tournament. It required great effort on the part of all our members, and the sheer logistics of how many weapons, cc, gold, and rocket parts that were distributed is simply astounding. Lets take a look at the stats.
Division One
Place: First
As many of you are probably aware EZC has implemented what is known as the Military Fitness Academy, or MFA for short. The MFA provides an extensive resource guide for new players and gets them into a training program in which they get paid NOT to fight. Yes, you heard that right, we pay our players to train rather than fight so that they can become D1 powerhouses. That is why a special thanks must go out to all our D1 fighters that fought so hard to get us into first place, despite the fact that it pushed them closer to D2. They could have simply ignored the tournament and trained, hoping to reap the rewards that others won. But they didn't. Our D1 fought valiantly and got Easy Company first place in the United States D1.
Division Two
Place: Second
A hearty congratulations must be extended to the leadership and members of C4, it was a great race to see who would come out on top and in the end they managed to score a well earned victory. EZC is still quite proud of its member's D2 performance, we put up a great showing and are impressed everyday by the level of commitment and effort put forth by our soldiers.
Division Three
Place: First
D3 provided another strong effort for Easy Company, managing to outscore the competition and secure another division for EZC.
Division Four
Place: First
Home to powerhouse after powerhouse EZC's D4 performed admirably in the Brothers in Arms tournament, securing the top spot in the US for Easy Company.
International Regiments
Place: Fourth
I'm not going to lie, seeing Easy Company's name in third place for most of the competition made me damn proud, even if we did slip down to fourth. EZC would like to offer congratulations to all those that participated in the tournament, even Nemesis, who came out of nowhere late into the tournament and dropped an insane amount of damage to knock us out of third and put themselves into second.b 😉
As you can imagine in the last week or so Easy Company has received many pm's and requests to join through its application link. Many seek to join, while others simply wish to know what it is about Easy Company that allows us to perform competitively with the best MU's in the nation, and the world. The answer isn't long or complicated, in fact it can be expressed simply with the image above. We are a band of brothers.
We didn't place this high in the tournament because we have the most money (we don't) or the most people (we don't) or because we aggressively recruit the highest damage dealers (we don't). We secured the spots we did because we choose to develop a community, rather than our own personal medal stash. Because rather than get some extra sleep our people choose to stay up to participate in booster rushes, or donate some gold to make sure every division has enough, or donating their wrm to make sure we have enough tanks, or searching through battle after battle to make sure our members are hitting in the best place possible. We may not have all the flash or funding of other units, but what we do have is teamwork, organization, and a willingness to put in an effort to improve the community.
What we have is the right people.

too bad you guys lost the 3rd spot, wouldve been awesome anyhow good job \o
Thanks Ilphen o/
Well, all the regiments ahead of us had 40 or more members, EZC's Elite Regiment has only 27, we also had fewer Titans than each of them did. So to finish 4th in its self was an amazing feat for us.
Hampton is right, I checked one of the 2 first places and (Slovenian/Phoenix) and the regiment that I checked had 50 players and 15-20 titans vs the 28 players and 6 titans that we had.
Nemesis just appear of nowhere with players throwing billions of dmg in hours.
But was a good fight 😛
EZC are special, this is the main point. We are a proud eUS MU, glad to serve and represent eUSA.
Congratz to all players doing theirs best. But a special CURRAHEE! to EZC members!!!
lots of gold buying retard in ezc ... congratz... not
Somebody's mom didn't hug him enough....

shit, wrong comment reply -.- sry
How about instead of posting rude comments for no reason you let us play the game our way and you play it your way? FYI I would wager to guess theres a hell of a lot less gold buying in EZC than you think, you might be surprised how much damage your community can do when its active and works together.
oh, I dunno.. I would not say you guys are retards, thats totally rude, but, you have an insane amount of gold buyers in the unit ( which aint bad dont get me wrong.... but you DID advertise you did not have the most money... which I disagree with... and you did claim you do not recruit, and we all know theres a hidden "but" in there... )
The fact that erep doesn't allow me to respond directly to your comment is so annoying because I'm typing this out knowing you will probably never see it...oh well. We certainly have plenty of gold buyers, but like I said to Lorenzo I think you would be surprised how much more important our communication and organization is to our success over gold buying. There are plenty of other units in the world with more gold buyers, they didn't finish in the top 4 😉
As for the recruitment thing, we really don't go out looking for the biggest hitters. We actually tend to target just the opposite, new players.
I agree with Bucephalus92. The main thing I notice when it comes to EZC compared to other MUs I was apart of is that they (or we I guess) work as a community -- there is no individuals here. Most, if not all, work together to better each of our members may it be through advice, sharing food/weapons, or donating WRM/FRM and CC to the MU to either be given out to those who need it (which this recent tournament being an excellent example of it) or shared with everyone when such a plan calls for it.
all functional MUs work as a community, the old teach the new, the strong feed the weak. thats like saying fire is hot and water is liquid- nothing new o.O but again, the dude did say you guys are retards which is rude to say the least and requires some bitching .
however, as i already stated, I myself disagree with most that was said - money wise, and people wise. there was always an echelon of officers that were and I guess still are, individuals. and you dont step on their toes
You guys won and it was to be expected ( cause you had the funds and staff to pull it off ) and noone should rain on your parade 🙂
EZC, you rock hard and you rock offten, thats why we love 'ya
Neron Trocki , I felt as if his comment implied that EZC results from this event was only due to it's members buying gold. While I cannot rebuttal the comment since I do not know the purchasing habits of all EZC members, I do see every day how the members do help each other and work together, which I feel makes EZC a more functional MU compared to others I've been apart of.
As for EZC officers from my experience, I've never had to step on their toes because they welcome us in decision making processes, which is the main reason I love the EZC. My previous two MUs I was apart of, stepping on the officer's toes either completely halted any advancements that could be made in that MU, or (especially with the MI) would get you a strike and event kicked out. I don't have to fear ticking off any of the higher ups because, and to be honest, it feels as if we are all on the same level in terms rank.
Neron Trocki, you say "An MU working together is nothing new" Then why is not every MU exactly alike? Why was EZC able to pull this off and others were not? The is a difference between saying you work together and actually doing it.
I never said all members bought gold o.O and why are we arguing?
I said, and I stand by it, that EZC has a fair amount of gold buyers, most of the upper echelon. That in term fueled the MU, the MU became great ( quite a while ago), got great members, made a great team won the tournament. case closed! fact is EZC was always the big dog, the big MU, nothing suprising in you winning this thing 😃
And, I stand by my claim that all MUs have to function in that way, otherwise they are not a MU.
again, dunno what you missenterpreted, and to the HHH guy, well, its kind of self explanatory
It's comments like this that make me glad to not be a Marine anymore
Since when the opinion of a single person, counts as a collective one, as well I might say that thanks to your "Short sighted" comment, I hate EZC. Witch I don't, max I hate your comment 😃
It was a blast, lots of fun. Good ol Mass attacks.
Proud of you guys.
CURRAHEE.
Great show of firepower EZC!
It was an honor to fight beside you guys, as always... Been in my share of MUs in the past. Never been in a MU that had people communicate this well or are this generous or had this level of camaraderie. If I am lucky, I will never have to search for another.

CURRAHEE!
Congratulations EZC!
Thanks o/

Currahee!
It was always with an eye toward an MU that was as wealthy in character as it is in gold that I labored.
EZC is my eRep dream come true.
We still have some work to do. There are some difficulties that we need to face. But I doubt there is another MU in this entire game that is better organized to reach the heights of such grand design.
CURRAHEE
I remember staying up as late as 3 am and waking up as early as 5 am just to do 10 minutes of hitting to maximize the booster option. The level of coordination and the amount of dedication of those in charge is the best that I've seen in this game.
Shout out to those that donated tens and hundreds of their own gold to activate the boosters and ensuring that we stay top spot.

The importance of our commanders, Deepchill, Gniraps and Hampton, was key factor too. And Gniraps is THE MAN ... prolly the best tank in this tournament by far... I personally would name the Elite Regiment, GNILRAPS ELITE REGIMENT!

A recognition to congress for the support provided could have come handy in here.
Nevertheless, you all performed astonishingly well guys and showed us what a team looks like 🙂
Don't lower the level under any circumstances!!
Congress making a good decision with the use of funds was definitely appreciated. o7
Thank Congress, money well spent
