Hello again eAmerica 😉

I’d like to start off by saying that although this article is written in a candidate-style format, I feel that the ideas here are important regardless of whether or not I am elected.

First off let me explain what I believe is the problem. Many people, including my opponents, vouch strongly for free trade in this game, therefore pushing for little to no import tax. I believe, in the way this game currently stands, this is a problem. It causes eAmerican businesses to suffer heavily in this country (partly due to the fact that every country seems to be beating to its own drum.) Many believe that TAMA would be the solution to the problem. I agree that we should be able to have free trade, but it has never worked well enough. Why? Because our relationships with other countries are artificial. Yes that’s right. Just think: If a bunch of Canadian citizens began fighting for one of our enemies out of the blue, such as Russia, in a Resistance War, would the eUSA not be up in arms? You know that we would. The reason why Free trade and low import taxes won’t work, even in the case of a brand new economically/militarily based alliance, is that none of our allies will stick with us for a long term basis. The solution? My Bridge Theory 😉

The Bridge Theory

I’ve come to realize that there is indeed a way to fix our relationships with other countries so that we can have a long term to permanent relationships with our allies, maybe even in Supranational Organizations that don’t fall apart within a year. It would require a Bridge Program that would recruit experienced eAmericans as volunteers to go to other countries to aid new citizens of those countries (with the countries’ permission). The volunteers would be supplied with all the necessary materials including food. The money for such a project would come from half donations and the other half government funding. The government funding would cover the essential countries; the amount of donations would determine how many extra countries we reach. In the long run, this would lead to deep rooted alliances with friendly nations, so that we’d be able to not only trust other nations mutually in an economic + military alliance such as TAMA, but also the ability to work collectively would be enhanced so that the little skirmishes that ruin long lasting alliances would stop. The details would need to be hammered out, but the general idea is what’s essential.

In the past I’ve been consistently against low import tax because it has a bad, negative impact, but in my administration, I would use the Bridge program as a building point to move on to such alliances as TAMA and the low import taxes. The idea for TAMA is great, but in all honesty It seems similar to Atlantis and if we are going to commit to alliances again we need to make sure that our allies truly do respect us and wish to help us. I think a Bridge Plan would be the excellent prelude to such endeavors, and compared to the Propaganda organization we have now, it would work for us in the end. I believe we should be helping other countries’ citizens, not trolling them. If we continue on this track of arrogance, and indecency, we will surely be invaded eventually. We still have time to change. Don’t wait.

If elected I will begin such programs as Bridge Theory and possibly even TAMA (when the Bridge has completely built its way across the river [now turning into an ocean.]) I believe a Mattoze5/Deificus administration will be the most successful at developing such a program. We need to start out slow, we’ve fallen too far behind to delve into something rash again.

Before I end, I'd like to extend a good luck and a happy campaigning to Gaius Julius and Harrison Richardson 😉

If you have any questions on the Bridge program or my campaign, let me know. Our next topic will be:

CITIZEN EDUCATION AND PARTICIPATION

I am Mattoze5 and I am a Bridge Builder; not a troll. XD
