Hello Norway!

This is my first article to you after the Presidential elections, which have just finished today, as you may know I had candidated myself as well but I lost by the narrowest of margins. However that will not stop me from wanting to make this a successful month for Norway, so I’m participating in M. de Ruyters cabinet and I’m honoured that he has wanted me to take the spot as his Prime Minister. With that said I want to thank all those that voted for me its really nice to see the support.

Now onto my article, I wanted to post some updated of the battles we have been having in Scandinavia, I did in the past but I stopped, so I'd like to do that for this term as well to keep everyone updated. Currently we face threats from the UK and Germark.





Northern Frontier: No less important but fewer battles than south

Finland - Previously Germany had held Norrland and Sameland and tried to take Lapland but where pushed back, Finland ensued but failed to take the region and end the war early, Germany with a new initiative attacked Lapland again and took it from Finland, almost immediately they attacked Oulu, which battle they are winning right now. Hopefully Finland will be able to turn the tide, we win RW’s fairly easily so it should be no different for Finland

Sweden - While Germany was busy attacking Lapland a resistance war was started in Norrland and Sameland which was taken ending Sweden’s NE on Germany, but Lapland was still under attack after the border was cut. In the mean time the UK decided to NE Sweden and took Jamtland Harjedalen, in pursuit of there desired deer region. Next, with Norway opening up a RW in Ostlandet and UK proceeding to attack Bohus Sweden opens up a RW in Jamtland and is currently winning there. Sweden also has an Natural enemy proposal in place on Denmark.

Norway - The UK had declared war on Norway after we had put an NE proposal on Germany. With us off the map Nigeria decided to airstrike into Svalbard & Jan Mayen taking that region from Australia. Currently a RW was started by Norway in Svalbard but it appears we will not prevail in that battle.





Southern Frontier: Some key battles that might just determine the out come of this war

United Kingdom – Wiping Norway allowed for the opportunity to attack Sweden in aid of Germany, with an NE proposal they attack Jamtland Harjedalen and take it easily. By now however they have lost their precious ‘Fortress Trondheim’ and are dealing with multiple RW’s by Norway and an invasion by Canada in the South West of England. Their attack on Bohus is also not fairing too well at the moment

Norway – After being wiped the UK’s declaration of war ended on us, that left us free to RW regions back while they decided to place an NE on Sweden. We took Vestlandet back first and decided to attack there ‘Fortress Trondheim’ while they where trying to take Jamtland Harjedalen from Sweden. We where also busy with a RW last night in Sorlandet that initially looked to be in favour of the UK, but with some CO’s we turned that battle and the rest was fairly simple. We opened up another RW in Ostlandet today and its in our favour as well, these are good opportunities for us to get our Freedom Fighter, Resistance Hero and True Patriot medals. Soon only Nord-Norge will remain in the hands of the Brits.

Sweden – Currently the Swedes don’t have an NE proposal on the UK as they had it initially on Germany and have proposed and passed a law on Denmark, losing Jamtland, the Swedes opened up a RW and look to take the region back, with the UK attacking Bohus most of the attention has shifted there and the UK is losing right now, should Sweden win they will be able to counter attack Nord-Norge freeing Scandinavia of the UK’s oppression but open up a new NE proposal on Norway should they decide to do so.

Denmark – While hoping to remain neutral Denmark will be dragged into this conflict whether they like it or not, while no battles are open at the moment Sweden will hold the initiative to attack, right now we can only speculate what will occur but most likely Denmark will be over run by Sweden unless they get support.

That’s all that I’ll be writing down for now, I’ll try to keep articles rolling out on battles that take place in our corner of the globe and give a summary on what happened!
