Australian CP update

Hello my fellow Australians,

I first would like to appoligise for the delay in the article, I have been pretty busy in RL and only been logging on using my phone. But I did promise that I would do an update and here it is...

...and stay tuned till the end for an update on the upcoming self dictatorship that Australia voted on.


MPP

We have been lucky enough to be able to renew quite a few of the MPPs that we had. We have reaffirmed our relationship with old friends and NEBULA nations by resigning some of our MPP's. These countries include Japan, Israel, Canada and Montenegro. In the next few days I will be looking at our other MPPs that we have and trying to get them renewed.

Some of you might be worried about the costs of these, but please let me reassure you, the cost is not all coming from the government. We have been lucky to have private donations to help with the MPPs so the cost to Australia has been kept at a minimum.

NEBULA

I was lucky enough to be online at a decent hour (10pm) to take part in the last NEBULA meeting. It was good and reassuring to speak to our alliance friends and discuss what is happening with each others countries. One of our alliance partners is looking at doing a TW soon, so we might be able to get in on the action. They also spoke about a few 'outside' alliance MPPs which I plan on following up in a more in-depth discussion with congress after the congress elections.

Congress Elections

Congress elections are coming up in approx. 8 odd hours time (depending when you read this), so I ask you to look at the parties and see what they offer. If you believe they will support you and your views, vote for them. With the game mechanics, only the top 5 parties will be able to run people in congress and also due to the large amount of regions we have, there is plenty of seats to go around.

But remember to vote for the ones you want to represent you and also speak to your PP to run if your interested.


CP Elections

CP elections are coming up in 10 days time. Currently we have Infowar running (and my name is up, but I am not running, still trying to work out how to remove it). But if your keen, speak to your PP and ask to have your name put in the hat. But remember to post your policies so everyone can see where you stand on both internal and external issues facing eAustralia.


Self-Dictating

Also in about 15 odd hours (not 100% sure on the time as I just flew into a new time zone, but I will look it up), Australia will start it's self-dictatorship as voted by you, the Australian public. I will be using my MU Peoples Militia of Australia to launch it. However I have asked the MU SQUAD to stand by incase I am not online for what ever reason. Yes, I know some people will think of conspiracy theories based on this. But after talking to the MU leaders both in a mass PM and some privately, I was assured that SQUAD will be online at the time.

Due to game mechanics, if any MU is not online during the initial lead up to the Dictatorship, it will automatically default in fighting against it. So if you log on and see that your MU is fighting against, either ask your commanders about it, or switch to an MU who is fighting for the dictatorship. Then afterwards switch back. Australia voted and the majority wanted this, so I will continue with it.

I have also spoken to NEBULA about helping out, so when the time comes, I hope if they are not too busy with any core region battles, that we can have some fun along side our allies.
