Do other nations fight too much in the alliance: Judge for yourself
Do we fight too little: Definitive yes
Do we need alliance for airstrike and war on our own.
In my opinion No!
We basically tow the line and still dont fight whereas a country like Chile has up to 6 active wars going on at any time. Bulgaria has always active battles because many countries dislike Bulgaria. Fyrom and Greece hate each other so will always have battles.

Tale of the tape
Its clear some allies have a lot of benefit from the alliance and fights several times a month against multiple opponents. Others like Ireland not.
In our last full out battle with Canada we lost 85 to 12 and was saved by the NE' timing out.
We didnt win a single battle there I can remember
Other allies is also not the mega forces they pretend to be. Problem is lets say we have 1 battle then Chile has 5 and we are prio 5 for them Bulgaria 4 and we prio 5 etc etc.
Ireland has a history of non fighting which hurts our numbers as its mostly fighting for allies.
Before this article I checked our damage which is 53'th
and we have these obvious targets
Belarus - 602 citizens - * member of leto and larger
Armenia - 208 - ***** small and unattached
Estonia - 278 - * member of root
Denmark - 121 - *****small and unattached
Venezuala - 1078 - * too large
Slovakia - 178 - *** small but member of root
Georgia - 1458 - * big and member of root
Obviously Armenia and Denmark could be attacked in an airstrike without the help of our allies.

No, I'd heartily support an airstrike on a non-allied country which doesn't put effort on our alliance/which we know we can land. I know CoB only didn't airstrike last month because the target was massively powerful and Aurora wasn't doing so well with Airstrikes.

Yes, we do need more active wars, but we're mostly limited to airstrikes because of alliances and long-standing friendships, which is expensive. Regular wars, in what is a wargame, are almost a necessity, so, yes, we probably do need to start attacking someone somewhere regularly.
See countries like Germany have regular targets. Although Armenia has poland as ally we can certainly hold a friendly AS there each month.
AS cost a lot of money. Monthly friendly AS would not be workable.
You can always move to a country that is at war.
I have moved to eAus and they are at constant war/wipe. That gets old quick too. War for a small country often ends with no congress.

shield is not important. why does one have a shield anyway but for warfare.

How do you come up with 87,000?
3,554,750 units of food. Each unit of food = .02. =71,000 IEP for food.
66,000 + 71,000 = 137,000 IEP. = 700 gold.
You would spend 700 gold each month on an AS?
The shield is very useful for protection and it is a deterrent to someone thinking about AS us.
oh i thought you meant this month. still we have enough money for one each month and the shield is for warfare not for crying in the corner like a little hamster
Terrible plan to spend 700 gold on a training war that might last one battle.
Monthly airstrikes for training wars is one of the dumbest ideas I have heard in a while.

spending 200000 when you have upwards of 4 million in the treasury is for you a dumb idea. here is another one cpt jackson what a dumb idea i wonder what numpty thought up that idea.
yes to throw away 200,000 is terribad. That is 5% Much better and cheaper to work a TW with UK or Canada.

Dont get me wrong, i do move and i do fight, but ireland as a country does not give its citizens (imho) the thrill of battling for our country. You might prefer ireland being at peace, and i do respect that, but i prefer, and again it is my opinion, that my country would be more active in the battlefield.
