ARP Weekly Update, XG4CP and the Albino Squirrel.

Day 1,871, 23:00 Published in Australia Australia by Daenerys Stormborn Targaryen

Hopefully this will be my final update as Revolutionary Party President since I will not be running next month. I am a firm believer in people being accountable for their actions, and my decision to run Icetek for Senator allowed him to openly attack respected players in eAus.

For that I must take responsibility and bench myself for a month. Its not the end of the world but if we are to change the way our nation does business then let me be the first President to be accountable for the actions of a party member.

The conduct by Icetek is totally disgraceful. His attacks on eAustralian Citizens is unforgivable.

As a result I requested Senator Louise Brooks to begin an official Senate Censure motion to attempt to minimize the potential damage of this delusional maniac. In revolutions there are always some who take it a step too far, openly attacking reputable members of our nation, causing dissent and generally making an ass out of yourself is not what the ARP stand for. Period.

The CP Election.
Seems to be heating up. It is very pleasing to see a solid campaign from both candidates where no personal attacks have been thrown. It does seem that outside groups are the ones throwing the accusations around, and I highly doubt Witherd or XG have a hand in this. Some people just like to cause trouble, most of the time I am one of them 😉

A few new players have taken it upon themselves to release articles endorsing Xavier for CP. I believe he has reached out and tapped into the right areas, his cabinet list also includes many new players anchored by the support of many of the greats of eAus politics. After being the CP of our Great Nation during one of the many wars with Indonesia, and making constant calls for alliances with them over war, which they refused by them, he has the political skills, Regional alliance desire, and ability to think outside the box held by many older players, that our nation needs at the moment to ensure we survive and move us forward as a nation.

I do find the party endorsements speak louder than words, Xavier is backed by active parties who have democratically chosen (via votes) to support him. ANP, GGP and APP are all top 5 parties, combined with the ARP clearly show the feelings of the major parties.

The Aus/Chile Treaty
Well its not overly popular, mainly because of how unfair it is to us, but generally accepted however as the best we could attain in the short space of time available to us. While I am in favour of dropping WA since it serves no purpose at all (It has the same resources as NT which equates to no benefit to us) I am aware that CP Candidate Xavier Griffith has been contacted by senior CoT members, and highly respected members of some of the CoT Member Nations[/color] who are aware that the deal offered is not as good as it could have been, nor will it really help us or CoT should we move towards CoT membership, however understand that there is a trust issue that needs to be dealt with.

Entering into CoT eAus must be at its strongest. Our military must be supplied and this costs funds, way more than we can presently hope to attain. The addition of NSW on the 20th of next month is also useless since it does not connect to NT or WA. We will recieve no revenue from that region either.

ARP Evolution
A party must evolve, must continually change as the environment around it changes. I have asked Louise Brooks to run for Party President next month. She has impressed many this month with her first time in senate and I am sure she will fulfil the position of Party President and take us to the next level.

All players must begin somewhere and that was my intention this month and I will continue to give the new players the weight of my experience, helping them out when they are lost, stomping on trolls who decide to attack them. I knew when we started this ride in the ARP that it was a long term thing and so far we are on schedule. Things will only get bigger and better.
