An Erepublikan Political Forum
New Faustian Man
"...I feel the political model suffers because of a lack of a specially designated "zone" or forum within the game that caters solely for the political aspect of the game. An MU-like feature were citizens of an entire nation can click on to see announcements from the president and his/her cabinet (as well as posts from the opposition), where citizens can view news, do popularity polls on the president and his cabinet, read up on candidates for upcoming elections, view bills up for vote in congress, see potential alliance treaties and declarations of war, and where they can comment on these same announcements/tax hikes/declarations of war etc. as well as chat among themselves, would really enliven the political debate and bring the whole experience much more to life!
It could work so that when someone is elected president the "forum" automatically passes to there control and its there duty to administrate the whole thing. I feel this would really center the national political debate of all countries and make it much more tangible, visible and accessible. Citizens would then know who's in charge, what there policies are etc. As it stands it's kinda difficult to even know who the president is, let alone what decisions he or she has made. And thank you for taking the time to read! As prize, here's a picture of Dog talking on the telephone:

Another ripoff ;_;
"Advanced notice of upcoming changed would be nice. Bring back Plato's paper. Also, listen to the players, they have good ideas"

How difficult to understand syntactic logic is?
lulz v
that is a great idea
Very good idea, id vote for more than once if I could
Voted. Very good ideas. There are no politics in this game. Parties have labels for left and right but it makes no difference. All nations have the same options in the running of the country due to game mechanics. The economy ( what little there is left ) runs the same way if a socialist or capitalist is running the country. If when a socialist got elected he could force businesses to run a certain way then votes would mean more. Same with capitalist, nationalist, or libertarian.
The political module needs more complexity not less.
Agreed A/C. We need a complete overhaul in the politics module! Actually being able to institute some form of economic or social policy that's insync with the ticket a president is elected on would be awesome.
