All the parties lined up
Schoft
As a recent immigrant I was wondering about the political parties in this great country of milk, honey and pot. So the best thing to do is get it from the horses mouth, here we go.
Democratisch Nederland
Democratisch Nederland main points of focus are:
- Guarding the Democracy in the Netherlands
- Check on the legality of the acts of both Congress and Government
- Organize Fun Events
- Involve the people more to decision of the Government
- Check the government for meaningful policies
- Fight for more Transparency
Libertas is a straight forward progressive party. They stand for out of the box thinking and are against selfimposed limiting factors, even if criticising them is considered to be controversial.
They push for the recruitment of citizens outside the game by different means (perhaps influencing the most important statistic of an eCountry) and oppose the forming of one too major majority/establishment.
Libertas is the home of several promising ''new citizens'', like Afrikaner meisje.
Iron and Wine (it's said the oldest party in eNL) have always done and that is try to serve the public in any way possible. Sometimes it might not be most popular solution but that doesn't mean it's not the right solution.
They continue to keep an eye on the eNL gov so nothing unfortunate happens.
Although that is not always successful because of the other party's, like the situations we have now with financial insight and closing an embassy of a foreign nation.
On a personal note I remember this as the party from Dutch champ Mitch Rapp.
I have been informed that the Party President Weekstrom has got a busy RL Schedule, but I will update this as soon as I have some more info. 😃
The party with the biggest logo, but same as VVN Gwom was busy as well RL, but KORDAK has been a flood of information lately.
Dutch Peoples Party is back to stand up for the rights of the PEOPLE!
GPN the biggest and the most active party in eNL, they give the people an opportunity to have their say. They look after the newbies and Zeeuwsmeisje providing most of the 14 articles that coach and support the citizens. There will be more info coming out in the next couple of days.
Bilderberg Group is a lot different in some ways.
The primary goals as a Party are:
- Bring fun back into this game
- To Grow enough to be taken seriously in the political area
- And to just have fun doing it 😉
After this wall of text I hope this informed some of the new citizens, sorry for not translating this into Dutch but we have 1km wall of text....if I do so.
I have compiled the information provided by the Party President of each party or link to an article given to me.
Do not hesitate to vote and subscribe.

Nice article! Good work!
GPN: "Currently they are wanting the chosen senators to donate the 5 gold to the government and use this gold towards new citizens. There will be more info coming out in the next couple of days."
If they mean Congress Members instead of chosen senators, it would be following the example of DemNL. I would applaud if they did! http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/namens-demnl-bedankt-thanks-on-behalf-of-demnl--2334165/1/20
Nice to donate more to the state!
It was removed from the article. Then I know enough.
schoft made an honost mistake, he thought that with the won gold I meant the 10 gold of Congress, but I meant ofcourse the thousands of gold we won, to use that to lend it to players so they can upgrade their trainingfacilities.
Thanks for explaining. I hoped you guys followed our example.
Cool quick overview! Maybe you could also make something like this before elections?
I did ask the PP for their choice but it was a bit too early for all, but we have a couple of days left...
Sorry guys... I was busy....
Looks great
the size of our logo compaired to that of DPP is unacceptible 😃
😁 nice overview
I don't know where you got the info for GPN, but this isn't what I'd pméd you. 😉
I think he just made a short summary. He describes every party in a few sentences.

well it didn't help either. 😒
And with this, we come to some important issues for GPN in Congress:
1. the Law should be interpreted after its intention and not after the letter
2. the stakes of the eNetherlands are more important than anything else and the Law should be adjusted accordingly (of course through the official means and channels)
3. full responsibility for all of the State’s financial transactions (4 eyes principle), without the need for full transparency
4. a firmer approach towards personal attacks on forum
5. young, ambitious players should be on top of the list at Congress elections and get all opportunities to become State secretaries in the government
6. subsidy programs for starting players should be brought to Congress’ attention again.
Let us emphasize that this is the opinion of most GPN players in the current Congress, and that everyone’s opinion will be respected also if this is not according to the previous. In the upcoming Congress term again, there will be plenty of room within GPN for constructive debate, as always.
I'm still waiting for Trannsvaal and Weekstrom to join GPN. RikW is the only face of that party that isn't completely biased for GPN. I hope he runs for PP in the coming race.
I see you left GPN and now are acting as if you're opposed of them? Funny. They supported you for as long you were an eDutch citizen despite the criticism from me for example. And the funny thing is; You potentially know best of all people within GPN (apart from van Spijck and Zeeuwsmeisje) I'm not biased but only look at the country as a whole. You even stated that a few times. But if anyone has doubts; Ask vS if you want, but I'm a pain in the ass for him if he needs funding without having a solid plan.
That said; This look like some sort of backstabbing and joining the people that criticise anything from GPN. I thought higher of you. But perhaps you had some wild nights again and weren't thinking straight as a result of that. If that's the case I hope you enjoyed it 😉
Opposed? Is a little bit of criticism seen as such a hostile action now?
Yea, I do want some neutrality brought back to Netherlands instead of a constant polarized war. I get enough of it in real life with American politics, but at least I can make a difference here.

Sadly I had work related issues that caused me to work until fri-sa night. The weekend then became fully occupied with the other "job" I took upon myself two years ago as "volunteer" in a school board. As some of you know that caused me to work another 40 hours a week besides my normal 50-60 hours job.
That extra job is ended if you look at the structural part of it but there are still several lawsuits that on occasion need a lot of attention. Friday a new one was dropped in the mail and caused me to use my full weekend on it.
Given the simplicity of statements however it's possible to keep it rather simple looking at VVN;
- We strive for a general Dutch cause and don't want party politics to interfere. The nations needs always need to prevail above party politics. That means unity is key! As a result we will always try to cooperate with every party and will only look at who's best for the job, regardless of party membership (if any).
- We want a financial solid country and every decision that causes us to spend resources, especially when it's extra budget above the standard monthly budget, there needs to proof of the fact it is indeed the most wise so that months of overspending that have been done before the van Spijck era began will never occur again.
- Added to that we want our country to work on a structural financial reserve from which future profits can be used to do extra activities and aid players. A form of extra structural budget besides our normal budget so to speak.
- Of course we want our own regions back. Or other regions to reside. But not at all costs. Fighting for our own original regions is no use as we all know so it's pointless to waste resources on it. Renting our own regions is a highly unlikely option. Renting as we do now from eCan however is a nice balance between profit for us in terms of potentially monthly congress elections and payment to a friendly nation as opposed to paying rent to an enemy.
Thanks for the info 🙂
