So after around 3 years of being a "2 clicker" I've refound the pleasure to play this game. Even if I didn't spend too much time in the game I informed myself on eAustria position in world politics and alliances and so on.
Now looking back 3 years ago and comparing with today I've seen that very few things have changed : eAustria isn't neutral anymore and some "old and monster" players got banned or left the game (or changed their account in order to lose their past - who knows).
So with all these few changes and with the current situation I've asked myself some questions which I can't answer and I hope some of you will help me to understand this things.
1. eAustria and alliances
So ok eAustria isn't neutral anymore, we are allied with eHungary, ePoland, eSerbia and of course eChile (oh I love that). It's good now, we don't feel threatened and we also fight in wars. Others wars of course. Few days ago I've seen a proposal for Switzerland to become natural enemy. And among all the discussion I've seen a comment in which was said that eAustria is not a country that conquer other country (something like that). And I've said "Ok, we won't have a chance to fight for our country, to make some damage for true patriot medal." But then I've watched again and again and again : we fight all day long for Chile (a country who own halp of eAustralia) in oreder to complete the daily order. What the ... Maybe there's something I don't ontherstand.
Why can't we do the same as eCzech Republic and eSlovakia ? Why can't we colaborate with eSlovenia? Imagine the resistance hero medals that we can get, the damage for true patriot medal we can get, the medals for battle and campaign hero and so on. Why can't this be done ? Why do we have to fight for others ? I can't understand.
2. Region changes
We have 2 or even 3 regions with the same resources. Why can't we change one region with another country in order to get a resource that we do not have. For instance we have 3 regions with fruits and none with grain. eSlovakia has 2 regions with grain and none with fruits. Wouldn't a change between this country have positive effect in both country as a better bonus will be gained ? Why can't this be done ?
3. COngress tax and partys
I never payed and I'll never pay this stupid tax. Those who want to help this country will help it. It's not that tax that help this country. This tax is more like a bribe to get to the congress as some party presidents make congress list based on people who are known to pay this taxes. So what if I don't pay it means I'm not good for congress? Or others who pay this taxes but then vote stupid laws only because they are told to do that are better? This tax is nothing good, it's just a trick. Especially now when you can't donate money to the country so those money do not reach the country. Where do those money go? In weapons for MU? If the answer is yes then there is a problem as the MU fight moslty in other country wars, and not in eAustria wars(as we do not have). Plus if that is the case, only some people receive those weapons, not all the people in eAustria. So why this tax?
And the last thing I can't understan😛
why do people vote for some guys? Like party president. What on earth? You can't find a person good enough to run for Presidency in you whole party? Or you don't even bother to sustain someone that other party proposed? Then why did you run for party presidency? Or for congress? Just to be there?

Very interested to see who's gonna answer all those questions 😁
1) - Before we won the last RW in Vorarlberg, those RWs offered a chance to get points for the True Patriot medal every few days. This is obviously over now. The new government will surely think about new realistic possibilities. One problem that always occurs with trainwars is the deletion of shared MPPs, which is pretty expensive now for smaller nations. But trainwars are safest with friends, who often share quite a few MPPs 😁
2) A region swap with Slovakia to get us grain and them fruit would mean that we'd have to give up Lower Austria and they Bratislava - both our RL capitals. While this is of no consequence within game mechanics, the sentimental value of these regions is still high for the respective players.
3) OEBernd explained in his radioshow (http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/eaustrian-radioshow-2183346/1/20) how members of the PHP and the NF mentioned the concern that the gold only benefits the Austrian Army MU and not their MUs. As a result, the tax wasn't collected last term. Personally, I think that the tax represents a great way for the state to get additional income. We just need to find a way how this income can be used for the good of all Austrian citizens.
4) People usually vote for candidates they know or who get recommended by people they know. I'm not following you on your later points though...

I don´t know why so many people get a b*ner when reading "true partiot".
It is worth only until medal 14 and most of the eaustrian have reached that.
If you do it now or later... who cares.. later you can reach it faster, now it would mean that there is a fight in eAustria.
You can fight without moving or from one of our frieds countries that have the same mpp´s.
So for me there is no problem as long I get my daily healthbar, my weekly supplies from the armed forces.
I am really happy that I can safe my damage for battles that are important or help our allies withour risking our regions and bonusses.

Many congress members don´t write articles or try to be active.
So why do they deserve 5 gold when we can spend it for things we do together or to support the newbies.
MU Supplies:
Common hits: With eAustrian CS you get weapons.
For most of the other things you have to be in the eAustbundesheer and you have to fill the form.
Why?:We had too many multies that just wanted the newbie food and the mu weapons.
I can´t count the kills in the other MU´s and last time I asked all other MU leaders said they are not interrested in stats+weapons.
Kuruks and Szerklers have their own Factories and produce their own supplies.
I don´t know how much they get from the hun gov.
Why the daily order is on a eChile fight?
eChile has a MPP with us, poland, hungary...
So you don't have to travel if you are there - you don't have to waste you money.
Sometimes they supply there fights via IRC - so you have the change to get the weapons for this fights.
So why not?
To answer one part of question 1 which got missed so far, the biggest reason we voted down the NE with Switzerland is that (most importantly) we are their friend/ally. We had no agreement with them for a TW, they were not expecting a NE. It is bad diplomacy to just declare war on a friend. That doesn't mean we couldn't ever arrange a TW (although others raise counterpoints to their usefulness above), but this was not one of those occasions.
@ Schwrzwolf -> 1) eSlovakia, eSlovenia, eSwitzerland (when they'll be back on the map) and now ePoland. These are all country that do not have MPP with us and it's because they are "our friends" that we can trust in training wars with them.
2) That is true but I gived just an example. If we "have friends" maybe eHungary, ePoland or other can help us with some resources we don't have. But I can understand this.
4) The idea was that there are people who want to be party president for example and after they win they do nothing. For instance there were party that didn't have anyone proposed or sustained for presidency. Also people who get in congress without having any clue what's going on in there. And that is also because party presidents select who goes first, second and so on in congress.
@OEBernd -> I agree that there are people who do nothing in congress (not even vote on others law proposals). And yes maybe they do not deserve that gold but if they managed to get in congress and do not pay the tax ... you can't do nothing. On the other hand question is : do the government deserve it ? Can everyone control and see how those money are spent ?
@hippie007 -> So I need to fight for eHungary and eChile all day? What if I don't like some of our allies or what they are doing (conquering other countrys). I still have to fight for them to complete daily orders. And just a curious fact (at the time I'm writing this) : Prince of Austria, OEBernd, Rangeley -> current location eHungary; Schwrzwolfa and you -> current location ePoland; I'm in eRussia. So what are we talking about? "Don't have to travel..." So why are we all anywhere else then in eAustria?
@Rangeley -> I agree with you but that was just an example. The idea was that we can have training wars with "our friends and allies" without risking anything and with benefits for everybody (explained in the article).
First of all, I thank you for raising many questions. You are certainly not the only one who wants to know more about some of the points you mentioned.
1) It's about the MPPs two nations share. If both have a MPP with - for example - Hungary, the attacker loses that MPP. If we do a trainwar with a bigger nation that needs those MPPs for more important battles, we have to do the attacking... This is not the most important argument in favor or against a trainwar, but it has to be considered.
2) Finding regions that would help us (example: Bavaria) and that we could also defend (-> NOT Bavaria 😁) is not that easy. The deal we had with Czechoslowakia, back when it existed, was probably the best we ever had and will have because it helped both nations likewise. (Southern Bohemian iron for aluminium from Styria + passage through Burgenland)
4) You are right that more activity within parties would be great. It's easier said than done on a consistent basis though : ( As party presient of the ÖIP, I can proudly say that we even have too much members who are qualified for Congress and they all know about their duties. So we don't have this problem at least.
It's hard to please everyone with Daily Orders. However, setting them on our allies, ideally when they are also giving out supplies, looks like the best way to deal with the situation for me. It should be possible to swallow your bad feelings towards a country and do the necessary 25 kills to get the energy bar. After this, you're essentially free to fight anywhere you please.
"So why are we all anywhere else then in eAustria?" -> I moved to Poland because I wanted to get supplies from India for their battle against Croatia and had to move to a country that had a MPP with India. For the others, the reasons should either be similar, or because they went there for economic reasons. Poland and Hungary share most of our MPPs, so I can still follow the Daily Order from there. \o/
I don't know, but in my opinion this MPP are money thrown out for nothing as I see that almost everybody has moved from eAustria in other countrys. And this give them the chance to fight in wars even if eAustria has or hasn't MPP with eChile for example.
Anyway, thanks for all the answer. It's good to clear some things and to inform yourself from time to time so thanks again.
I'm not really sure about this, but it might not be possible to create a Daily Order for a battle when the country of your MU is not involved with it (via MPP, NE or RW). Maybe it only doesn't work with the automatical setting Daily Order.
When you really think about it, a lot of things in this game don't make much sense. What do we wage wars for for example? The only ingame reason to do this is to get more boni/uses, which give you more resources to wage war. At some point though, this becomes pointless, especially if you consider how stable the larger and how instable most smaller countries are.
