Advice for players: Regarding the Climbing center

Day 1,651, 10:34 Published in Japan Japan by ahava3233

Hello, ahava3233 here. Anyway, I wanted to give another advice article for the people in eJapan, as well as any other readers I may have for my newspaper.

Many of you have certainly already upgraded your training grounds to Q3 and are getting enough strength for super soldier medals every 14-15 days. Guess what though, if you want to raise your strength faster, you can do better than that with further investment, and without spending too much gold daily (although you will not earn money this way). The secret is the climbing center.

The climbing center at Q1 gives 2.5 strength, 5 strength at Q2, and 7.5 strength at Q3. Using the climbing center costs .19 gold. This might not sound like much for what you pay for, but on top of a Q3 training grounds, the climbing center is very effective for training, and you don't lose too much on your daily investment, particularly if you have Q3.

So, assuming you already have a Q3 training ground (this should be your TOP priority given the reasons I gave here, get it before almost anything else). Let's do the math...

5 divided by .19 gold is roughly 26 and a third. Thus, as a guideline, although we will not make this, we want to earn an extra super soldier medal about every 26-27 days to break even. So, given you already have a Q3 training grounds...

Q1 Climbing Center (initial cost, ¥100 or CC): 22.5 strength for every fifth day, else 18.5 strength. This comes out to a medal about every 12-13 days. For this one, given the algebraic equation 15*(x) = 13*(x+1), as x=6.5, you therefore earn your extra medal every 97.5 days.

Q2 Climbing Center (initial cost, 20 gold w/o discount): 25 strength for every fifth day, else 21 strength. This comes out to a medal about every 11-12 days. For this one, given the algebraic equation 15*(x) = 12*(x+1), as x=4, you therefore earn your extra medal every 60 days.

Q3 Climbing Center (initial cost, 50 or 70 gold (if one doesn't already have Q2) w/o discount): 27.5 strength for every fifth day, else 23.5 strength. This comes out to a medal about every 10-11 days. For this one, given the algebraic equation 15*(x)=11*(x+1), as x=2.75, you earn your extra medal every 37.5 days.

Looking at the math above, disregarding the initial capital needed to upgrade the facility, the Q3 climbing center does not seem to be too expensive daily (About 2.12 gold every 37-38 days), and if strength training is your top priority, it would be ideal to upgrade your climbing center to Q3. The upgrade offers a 44% increase in strength training speed, which is rather substantial!
