A Historic Moment

Election Of The Century

As a newsman in-game, I like to follow the stories, and in particular, the elections. I personally predicted Glove would lose to Civil Anarchy, because I expected the anti-RLC backlash to be too great for Glove to overcome. Once again, my predictions can be wrong, as it is now offical, Glove is now President of the United States.

I consider this a historic moment because as a player who has been here a few years, and very active within the last 15 months, I see that the nation's political system and the feelings of the people have changed. Regardless of what side you took, we must all agree that last night's election is a certain and decisive victory for the Republican Liberty Caucus.

What will be of the Glove administration I do not know, but I would place a good bet that the Congress will attempt to impeach the newly elected commander-in-chief before Congressional elections, where the balance of power in the Congress would once again be up for grabs.

The Republican Liberty Caucus has been a rising star in American politics, and though not as liked as other parties, such as the AMP and USWP, the RLC has once again shown why it can now call itself a major player in the American political system. The chances of the party being PTO'ed by the government are now slim in my opinion, since the party in question now controls the White House.

I am also curious as to what will be of the national orgs and things of that nature, and whether or not the nation's leaders prior to this election will turn things over willingly, or be forced to do so by a possible admin order.

Regardless of what happens, everyone in this nation has just witnessed an election that will be remembered for many months to come, and will surely be a talking point for the national media for weeks to come.

Conclusion

Continuing in a Meet The Press tradition, I have sent to the newly elected President a list of questions that he will give responses to and will be published in an upcoming Meet The Press article. I also plan to try and interview Civil Anarchy, and a few other people before the Party Presidential elections.
