Sunday Tabloid
Ilene Dover

Who likes weekends? We certainly do at the media office. That said, we’re all here beavering away on a Sunday afternoon for your reading pleasures… Today we present the Sunday Tabloid section, for your reading pleasure.

The Puzzles

Here’s another easy Sudoku for you:

Since Sudoku is crass and in every newspaper these days, let’s try another Japanese puzzle. These are called Hashiwokakero. The idea is to join, using only horizontal and vertical lines, each and every node. The nodes have numbers in them. You must draw that many lines out of each node. Good luck!

The Funnies

Being government stooges we have to be non-controversial. In public at least.

USAF News

I have some exciting news for the USAF. Following the aftermath of Oblige’s removal from the Comanding Officer’s postion, CP/D Melissa Rose has appointed a new Comanding Officer in charge of the USAF. Please join me in welcoming Hale Kane to the top position!
Hale Kane, USAF Commander

The USAF seems to be constantly in and out of limbo. For those of you who have been wondering what the future may hold for the USAF, rest assured because Hale Kane is on the case. He has the leadership skills needed to steer this MU back on course. I have the utmost confidence that Hale will bring some great things to USAF and make it one of the USA’s heaviest hitters once again. Congratulations Hale Kane! We wish you the best in your new position!

The Defensive Dictator
Kalos Hoenn

Not too long ago a revolution had taken place in eUSA. After receiving word of such an act beginning to occur, I was able to catch Yui MHCP001 and The Norm for a brief talk after a meeting they participated in. While speaking with them, The Norm remarked towards the person who started the incident in the first place as: “a f*****g idiot for starting the revolution.” Yui state😛 “I have a few suspects who could have helped them in his party, but they are mere speculations.”

It has come to my consensus that not too many citizens understand the reason of how nor why we have a dictatorship in the eUnited States. For many it is understandable to have a ‘Democratic Dictator’. While Congressional Buttons can’t be used anymore, it is a mere way to protect the eUnited States from further invasion. When you go back to Reality and see the United States as a Democracy, you remember the mechanics, there aren’t any mechanics for the real-life Government. There are Checks & Balances from all the branches of the Government. Nonetheless, in eRep, it allows not just the eUSA but practically any other country to protect itself from foreign invasion, giving them time to rally up citizens in order to defend their country. Although having the Dictator and PoTUS be the same may have it’s downside, it was mentioned in Wednesday’s eNPR: “with one click of a button and a bad day the Country can go from good to bad in an instant.” Although for those coming in, or for those citizens who are just coming back from the brink of eDeath, it would be recommended they brush up on some knowledge or ask around in their Political Parties and even Military Units to have a better understanding of the recent changes around the eWorld. Adaptation is key in understanding the eWorld while activity and retention the are key to surviving the eWorld that we’ve all come to know.

Notes From The Editor:
Thanks For The Ride
Joey3790

What a month it has been. In my opinion, Melissa Rose has done very well during her term as President. A lot of things were accomplished. Pacifica was expanded, then expanded again. eNPR was relaunched for everyone’s enjoyment. There have been some major changes done in the USAF, hopefully to make it better in the long run. There have also been a lot of things Melissa and her team have done behind the scenes to make sure things in the USA run smoothly. Many people may not realize everything that has to be done to make this country run like clockwork everyday. As her term comes to a close in a few days, we hope that the one elected to carry on after her will continue the progress Melissa has started and built up. Great job Melissa!

I also want to thank the Media Team this month for the hard work put forth in every WHPR published. Thanks to Melissa Rose for believing in me and selecting me as the April Secretary of Media. Thanks to my Co-Secretary of Media, James Schubert, for the pleasure of working alongside you this month. Thank you Kalos Hoenn and Ilene Dover for the various articles each of you have submitted. Without you, this team would have fallen apart very fast. And most importantly, I thank all of you, the eAmerican people reading this, for your votes, comments, and support each week. What would a newspaper be without regular readers? As I clean out my drawer in the White House Media Room and pack everything neatly into a paper bag from the grocery store, I think of the fun and good time I’ve had this month. Maybe I’ll come back someday and do it again. Just a few more days and I’ll be officially signing off the grid. Thanks for the ride America!

Thanks for reading!

Sincerely,

Your Media Team,
Ilene Dover
