[US] eNew Zealand is Open for Business!

Day 1,053, 08:12 Published in USA United Kingdom by Devoid

I'll keep it short, because who wants to read long-winded articles (and who wants to write them)?

As of Day 1052, eNew Zealand is a country. We are actively looking for investors, both to open companies in our new country, and also to export us anything and everything.

** Our tariffs on all goods and materials will be 1% as soon as we have a Congress to pass the law (they are currently 10% on finished goods, 0% on raw materials). They will stay 1%. Full stop.

** We intend to follow a neutral foreign policy, which should leave us with very few if any embargoes, with any country.

** We want you, company owners, to export us stuff.

It is our belief that a country can't have too much stuff. We want food, weapons, and houses. We want raw materials. We have high grain, and we're still going to keep minimal tariffs on grain. We want it all.

Why is it worth it to you? Because we're a new country, meaning that we have nothing. If you buy a license and export us stuff, you're going to be one of the few. And that means profit. Even moreso for the raw materials we don't have, meaning everything but grain. We need those raw materials to get our economy started, and that means prices are high.

As far as the future goes, consider that we're going to be a small country, which means that you aren't going to have an awful lot of competition. A shrewd business owner could turn this into serious profits.

Oh, and so much moreso for countries selling high-quality goods. We aren't going to have that many domestic companies, nevermind high-quality ones. It's entirely possible that we won't have more than one or two companies selling, say, Q5 artillery on our market.

Also, you'll be helping out a new country 😃
