Coalition Talks
October 25th there were congress elections. These elections were not your usual congress elections. Most UNL citizens were very concerned about the occupation of Flanders by Eden forces and a lot of them moved to Flanders to vote for UNL and PEACE congress candidates there. Eden tried to drive us apart but thanks to Eden and their 'liberation' of Flanders our union is more alive then ever.

BP is the largest party in the UNL and the president asked Kravenn to lead the coalition talks. A new government is expected soon.

Home Affairs is still working on a revised constitution and on the name change.

Defense
Ah lot has happened this week. First the negative points:
1. We lost Flanders in the last minutes of the resistance war which was organised by Eden/Fortis .
2. We lost the ATO of congress in Belgium, the conquerors have 6 congress seats and we've got 4.
3. Belgium signed an alliance with USA & Romania, so we can't strike back soon.

But there are also some positive points:
1. We have had contact with the current president of Belgium who still has a vote in the congress of Belgium. in fact I have him on my facebook so we have an extra congress vote!
2. For everyone who lives in Belgium there will be news in you own language. Bicky is going to post in French and CreveRoeland in Vlaams.
3. The parties of the eUNL are actively cooperating in fighting the Flanders situation. The union lives!

In this turbulent times it is very important to train and to fight. Keep your wellness high and use Q1 weapons in the training war if you can afford them, you'll increase in rank fast and you will do more damage by the time there's a real war. Get stronger, be prepared for a real war. Here's some important info about fighting:

War games
With the war games going on, you can fight almost every day in the battle against Latvia. The battle starts around 21.30 CET every other day and lasts 24 hours. You can fight before day change, go to the hospital and fight and visit the hospital again after day change.
Subscribe to the newspaper of the Ministry of Defense to be notified of the battles.

Being a soldier is not hard, technically it's only getting free weapons when UNL get attacked, but we need you in our database then so don't wait, sign up today by filling in this form!

Raws
The Minister of Raws donated and lots of resources. You might think that kept him busy, but he managed to find time to fight in Hungary, run for congress in the UNL and, together with our Minister of Finance Boklevski, supplied us with spam on demand. Rumour has it a street will be named after him for the excellent work he did on the unofficial Ministry of Spam.

When you need raw materials you can order them. Please mail Theneka in game if you want to order raws. Please state which raws and how much or for how much gold you want them.

Stable Monetary Market
This week NLG stayed at 0.016 gold again but gold has risen to 64.999 NLG. The foreign investors are still selling their NLG slowly. This can take some time, it will be a bit more difficult to sell your NLG. There is gold to buy on the monetary market, it is just a little bit more expensive. We must be aware to have enough gold on the market. Private companies promised and do help here.

Q5 Hospitals and Q5 Defense Systems for sale
We sold a hospital to our ally Russia for 250 gold (partly in RU😎. The RUB we can easily sell for gold or buy raws with it. We also sold a Q5 hospital to our nation and placed it in Region West. We are still searching for customers for Q5 hospitals and Q5 defense systems. We have them ready at fair prices around 250 gold and we accept raws together with gold as payment. Our ambassadors are searching where to sell and within our alliance we already contacted a lot of nations.

Employees needed?
Whenever you search for employees, contact OE_Volksgezondheid. We have very healthy and skilled employees available. These will be fired when there are jobs available in the private companies. The employees low on wellness are helped to achieve a good wellness.
