Join the new world

This next elections I have decided to run for Party President of the UKPP! I hope to bring around some great changes while at the same time maintain the aspects that have made us so successful over the past two terms!

Firstly I would like to say a big thanks to Garth, Wayne, Bobbinbob and the other guys who have done a great job of taking the UKPP from its darkest times to now. It is their efforts that have convinced me to run and take some of the strain off of them!



I have been with the UKPP and RN since the time I joined the game. I believe that this sort of loyalty will show that I am committed to all of you! I may not be the highest leveled person available for this position or the most exprienced but I am driven, active and have been learning quickly.

I think that the link between the UKPP and RN needs to be maintain to keep all of our members involved and able to perform to their best. This isnt to say that we should force people to join both but mealy give them friendly encouragement 😉



Recruitment and Retention

At the moment I currently head up this part of the party and MU by myself, which although keeps everything easy to handle is a lot of work. In discussions with our new RN Commander Firefox30, it was decided that the captains of the regiments would look after retention for the RN. For the party I see the need to expand the Recruitment team, a good number and way to run it needs to be sorted out but I have already established a base form which to work from. As far as the final result goes I would run this hand in hand with Firefox30 to enable the continued good relations between the UKPP and RN.



Forums and IRC

The forums are a very underused medium of media communication that the UKPP does not use enough. This has been a long standing problem. The best way to rectify this is to get more fun and games (games mean prizes)along with news articles and information but up. This would give one point where all information can be found making it easier to find important items that could be lost otherwise.

Recently many more people have been on the IRC channel RN chat

I believe that the UKPP chat has become underused and the only people that enter it are those form other parties. I would like to see it get used more to talk to these other parties and help with party relations.



Media & Communication

This term it has felt very much that this has been sorely missed. I would like to establish a strong team of 3 members who would cover different areas of the media.
1. Would cover the UKPP and what is happening, a weekly paper at the least
2.Would cover congress and the rest of the country, a weekly or fortnightly paper
3. Would cover the rest of the eWorld, a weekly or fortnightly paper.



Finance

I think that behind the scenes Bobbinbob has done a fantastic job of gathering all of our finances and managing them. He has put us in a place where we are now able to expand. Angela Williams has said about a loans company being set up and put into action. If I get PP I would like to invite her to run this program along with a few other things.



[Party Direction and Aims for the next Month

1.Over the next month I see the UKPP progressing in eUK politics. I would plan to help Garth follow his plans through and make a serious CP run happen! Its time the UKPP got to where it belongs, at the heart of eUK politics! I would also like to see a push for 12-15 congress persons, which I believe is achievable.
2. The RN has progressed to a top 25 MU in some divisions as you have said. It is also regularly a top 2/3 MU in the eUK. I would like to see us consistantly hitting 20+ million damage daily which is very close. The party can help the RN by offering more support and funds when needed. I think they are already closely linked so the only real strides are needed in keeping people involved in both the UKPP and RN equally.

I believe that what I have stated about is what is best for the UKPP and you as its members. That is why when the 15th comes around I would like you to vote for me Richard Feist
