[Tutor Program] Interview with a student (Part 2/3)

Day 2,472, 15:51 Published in Canada Spain by idontunderstand

Hello everybody and welcome to our second installation of our three part series, interview with a student, where we will today be talking with Jenavive RoseThorne Gemstone, creator of the Kami Competition, which by the way i enjoyed quite thouroughly. Anyways, sit back and enjoy the interview.

idontunderstan😛 HELLO! So this is a small request on my behalf. I am still trying to build the tutor program, and since you were in it in a small sense, just to get a few things clarified and such, I was hoping you might be able to answer a few questions that i can publish in an article about the program, i am hoping that you will help me, i really am hoping to spread the program.

Also on an unrelated note, I'm really sorry the Yami contest didn't get enough participants, i was really looking forward to that 🙁

Jenavive RoseThorne Gemstone: It's okay. Maybe people are just bored of contests v.v

And sure, just give me the questions 😃

idontunderstan😛 okay you can expect roughly 4 or 5 questions i think. Okay first question, You seem to have had a good grip on the game for a long time, what was it that interested you in the tutor program in terms of what it offered you?

Jenavive RoseThorne Gemstone: That even though something like this did not exist where I needed it, they're reaching out to those who still do. I also like how very experienced players can give you some insight on things that you do not understand (even if you've been here for a while).

idontunderstan😛 What did you think of the initial information of the program and the process of getting in, did you believe it was sufficient?

Jenavive RoseThorne Gemstone: Can you link me to that page? I'll have to look it over again to answer.

idontunderstan😛 A lot of the information was PMs between myself and you, but there were also these articles detailing the program

and then later this one

http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-reminder-the-tutor-program-2422106/1/20

Jenavive RoseThorne Gemstone: Yeah, I believe it's sufficient.

idontunderstan😛 Among your short time in the program, what would you say is the most important thing you have learned?

Jenavive RoseThorne Gemstone: Politics. Everything is easy to understand but the political aspect of this game. Ana-kun has been a big help with that 😃

idontunderstan😛 It is good that you have learned the political aspect of the game, Now if you had to give the program an overall rating of 1-100, what would you rate it?

Jenavive RoseThorne Gemstone: Uh...

Maybe somewhere between 70-85?

idontunderstan😛 Alright, and if you could change any thing, or make any improvements to the program at all, what would it be?

Jenavive RoseThorne Gemstone: More... how should I say this...? Interactive tutoring? It's good and all to tell us things, but why not guide us through steps while experiencing it 😃? But that depends on the tutor I suppose.

idontunderstan😛 It does indeed vary from tutor to tutor, i have tried to give as much free reign to the tutors that i can. But thank you very much for your suggestion, i will try to find some way of taking that and improving the program. thank you for lending me your time, it was great to have you for this interview/survey, whatever you want to call it

Jenavive RoseThorne Gemstone: Alright. Glad I could be of service to such a noble goal :3

Alright Folks! There you have it! I hope you enjoyed this installment of Interview with a student. Part three may or may not be published tomorrow, depending on how soon my interview with our next Student. JETSUN!

Have a great night folks. And remember, If you wish to participate in the program, no matter whether as a student or a tutor, Send me a message, there are no really qualifications! Just that a tutor must know the game well enough!
