From 1945 to 1991 our name was the Socialist Republic of Macedonia as part of SFR Yugoslavia. Then all 6 republics carried the name Socialist Republic of Serbia, Socialist Republic of Croatia,also Slovenia and Bosnia and Montenegro were Socialist republics. When all the republics seceded from Yugoslavia "Socialist" appendix is removed in all 6 republics.
All republics have retained their names that were used 50 years. The referendum Macedonia became an independent country on September 8, 1991 as the Republic of Macedonia, and the word "socialist" was deleted. The same like republics of Serbia, Rep. Croatia, Rep. Slovenia, the Rep. Bosnia and Herzegovina Rep. Montenegro.
All republics immediately joined the United Nations except Macedonia ... and why

As part of Greece is using the name Macedonia should automatically join the new part of Macedonia ... My Macedonia ... You read the Treaty of Bucharest in 10.08.1913 as a writer went to our part of Macedonia Greece.

@Dimepro - статията е спам, да, както и много други статии и при вас, и при нас, и при всички държави. Един от законите е Do not contaminate with real life или нещо такова.
А FYROM е международното име в Обединените нации, не е нещо, което да е измислено от гърците.
А вие нас ни псувате и не ни харесвате, но замисли се - ние първи ви признахме през 1991 като "Република Македония", и въпреки че имаме спорове за име, език и т.н., не ви правим проблеми в международни организации като гърците.
Жалко е, че никога няма да стане, но щеше да е хубаво ако тук няма РЛ проблеми. Само че админите печелят най-много защото всички тук се бият заради РЛ проблеми - вие и Гърция, ние и Турция, сърби и хървати...
В Индия и Китай има много повече хора, но или не играят, или не дават истински пари. А ние на Балканите даваме. Защото мислим, че нещо тук в играта ина значение, а то няма никакво значение, само даваме пари, ядосваме се, псуваме се... Глупава работа

The "bad" greeks never forbid the use of "macedonian" language, because no such language existed.

Point 1 clearly says it. So stop with your propaganda and show us a historic document where they forbid "macedonian" language.

@narozmkd I have no hate for you and your country. But I don't agree if you repeat the lies you are told by the DPNME regime. As I said the Greeks cleary said who they were persecuting and who they hated (Bulgarians and not Macedonians), as you can see by the above mentioned original documents.
P.S.: Ask yourself why Bulgaria denied to split up Macedonia with Milosevic (Serbia) and Mitzotaxis (Greece) in 1990.
Why Bulgaria first recognized the independence of Macedonia in 1991.
Why Bulgaria gave you 150 tanks in 1999 for free (Serbia left your army with 2 tanks).
Do you really think that Bulgaria would do this for somebody who they hate?

Lie.Nothing was forbidden because simply then your ancestors WERE and claimed to be bulgarians.You started to be "macedonians" in 1945(as you said).Which means 32 years after the treaty of bucharest(think that the treaty had about bulgarians,serbs,greeks,turks,montenegrins,romanians but no "macedonians",random?).

This is not propaganda,i clearly said i am a Macedonian and it should be clear to you ... 130 countries 2/3 of the world called Macedonia ... only because of you, Macedonia must change the name. To add this attribute "Former" to become a member of the UN.
