[TRS] A Little Bit of Razzle Dazzle

Day 5,804, 10:13 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Garth Lidlington

Hello all, it’s nearly time for the Party Presidential elections, where did the time go!

After two months steering the ship of TRS (formally known as REDACTED), I am writing to let you all know that on the 15th I shall be running once again for Party President. I feel that, as a party, we have grown tremendously in the past couple of months. Highlights include a TRS and AMD victory in the Country Presidential elections last month, and an against-the-odds draw this month, with TRS missing out on the presidency by exp alone.

TRS feels united as a party and I have no doubt whether I am in charge or if it’s down to another more than capable member of the party, we will be pushing for the better.

Going forward the goal is simple, Recruit, Retain and keep a bit of Razzle Dazzle. Player recruitment and retention is such an important part of today's eRepublik. Offering players support, advice and an active part in politics is one of our top priorities. Our TRS discord server allows us to help keep in touch with all players on the server, but it is vital to keep in-game only players in the loop too, as everyone should feel involved and welcome within the party.

Entertainment may not seem like a relevant pastime in the game to some, but TRS is the funnest party and I will not hear otherwise! (humour mode engaged). We have a great group of socially active members and I plan on making sure we keep engaging in activities in-game, on discord and externally. We have a number of party ideas in the pipeline but if any TRS member has suggestions or ideas you are more than welcome to drop me a message to get something going too!

Games are supposed to be fun, because otherwise there would be no point in playing. I have genuinely had the most fun on this game in a while! That being said, I hope to have your vote come election day and if not, may the best party member win!

Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
