Goodmorning eRepublikans,
Today, despite the objections of some players, I will publicize the analysis of the war surplus packs based on my own hit. My Q7 hit is currently 114,950 without NE bonus and without a damage booster. Whenever I tank I always turn on a 50% booster or even a 100% booster which I still have a few left. I will compare the cost of the War Surplus pack versus what damage I would do if I bought energy bars.
5 Gold Pack
The pack will give me total 6,799,020 damage with 3 bombs and 1 double energy bar.
5 Gold worth of energy bars with a 50% booster will give me 6,315,989, so basically the same damage.
In this instance I will not buy the pack.
25 Gold Pack
The pack will give me total 35,000,000 damage with the bombs.
25 Gold worth of energy bars with 50% booster will give me 34,485,300, so basically the same damage.
In this instance I will not buy the pack.
50 Gold Pack
The pack will give me total 55,000,000 damage with the bombs.
50 Gold worth of energy bars with 50% booster will give me 63,159,890, so if I buy energy bars I will get more damage. If I use a 100% booster I will get 84,213,185 damage.
In this instance I will not buy the pack.
100 Gold Pack
The pack will give me total 200,000,000 damage with the bombs.
100 Gold worth of energy bars with 50% booster will give me 126,319,780. If I use a 100% booster I will get 168,426,373 damage.
The pack also gives you a 100% booster.
In this instance I bought the pack because it will give me additional damage, I also saved a 100% booster that I would have used and I also gained another 100% booster (so I am +2 100% boosters).
250 Gold Pack
Now this is the important pack.
The pack will give me total 750,000,000 damage with the bombs.
250 Gold worth of energy bars with 50% booster will give me 315,799,450. If I use a 100% booster I will get 421,065,934 damage.
The pack also gives you four 100% boosters and these 100% boosters are the most valuable item in the game today because you can not buy them with gold or euros. (You win maximum 1 per day in the powerspin, but that is a different story).
Also the first time you buy this pack, it gives +20 wellness for 5 days, this is 2400 extra prestige points. For me these extra prestige points will get me 75 extra energy bars which I would have bought otherwise with gold, a value of 102 gold. So this pack is 250 gold - 102 gold = 148 gold.
Also, if you drop all the bombs with 40cc CO, you will get back 150 gold from the CO.
In this instance I will definately buy this pack because it will give me additional damage and four 100% boosters.
Bombs also have the benefit of being able to lay down a huge amount of damage in a very short timeframe. However, bombs have some detriments, such as:
- they can expire in 30 days. You have to get new bombs to extend their lifetime.
- the longer you keep bombs in stock the less they are worth because your hit continuously increases but bombs always stay the same.
- bombs do not provide you with rank.
- the damage from bombs do not count towards your total in tournaments.
Personally I bought all three big packs because I will make it rain in a few battles.
As a side note, do not estimate that you will make your money back on the days where there will be x10 BH. Trust me, those days will be insane.

The pack of 250 gold worth it even more, if you use it in a CO >=50cc
don't forget that if you hit for your citizenship country, the 250 pack bombs will give you 15 true patriot medals (75 Gold)
so, you can get some additional Gold from TP medals

If you have him on your FL, you can see he fights for the BH in battles ending just after DCs.
I bought three of them, too. I will keep the bombs (small bombs can be prolonged with weekly leaderboards rewards, big bombs maybe with power pack - I'll try), they have to revalueate them eventually.

In my opinion there's another point to underline, which would involve some players.
Those stupid decorations will become a wild card for BHs, at least in the next month.
Few would chase those who are ready to reply with tons of rocket damage.
When chasing a BH of course you check decorations, when last bomb was dropped and total amount of bombs dropped.
But that's a different article entirely.
