[PotUS] Returning to Domestic

Day 2,192, 19:06 Published in USA USA by Azazel Romanov

It has been too long since my last article and I apologize. A lot has been going on needing to be taken care of, and it distracted me a bit from my public voice. I promised you guys some updates about more domestic stuff, so I will attempt to address some of that. Education and Human Services deserve some more limelight (and possibly Interior as well). I’m sure some people are also interested to know more about our foreign affairs situation, and I will touch on that a bit now and more in the future. We also have a small ATO update to get out of the way. Enjoy the ride.

ATO Instructions

We knocked them down again, and strengthened the defense of the Top 5, but we have to stay alert. First, a congrats to our Department of Homeland Security for their success this month. I ask those that are unaffiliated, 6th partiers, or those interested in preserving our democratic stability to move to Liberty Advancement Party. We’ve got a wider gap, but we can make sure it’s a wall the PTO can’t pass. You might also lend a hand to the party to continue its building. It has a cool leader and some cool guys.

Reiterating: Move to Liberty Advancement Party

Domestic Updates

Education: I have several things to promote here. First of all Education is promoting a raffle event and American University applications. I urge the players eligible and interested to apply! A chance to win money is never too bad, and the chances of winning are pretty high. Another thing I hope some people noticed is the upcoming MoE Convention. This was an idea by Alexandrer to bring together Education Departments to share ideas and promote the game as a whole. Despite our foreign affairs differences, education is a global issue, and we should start addressing it as such. Our Education Department will lead the way in making this an international effort. We’re also underway with some retooling of Education towards recruitment. Expect to see more on this, and I will be sure to shout it for education or update this article to reflect it.

Human Services: Their job on staffing our departments has been excellent. So now that we have that great, Human Service is beginning to expand its operations. They recently supported the Hunger Games event going on in the world, and will have some events of its own in the future. There is also discussion of expanding the role of Human Services into new ventures that could be quite interesting for our government. I made Human Services to be sort of a catch-all for the things that didn't exactly fit for other departments, and this mash-up is sure to produce more interesting results.

Interior: More of a reminder for this department. I just want everyone to remember that they are still giving away free stuff. Yes. Free. Check here if you want to get some of it. Interior is always willing to lend a hand and some bread. Make sure to take advantage of your government.

Foreign Affairs Updates

Just as a heads up to everyone, despite regaining Georgia and Maine, our NAP with Spain and Poland is intact. I am in constant talks with their leaders, and as per our treaty, we resolve things of this nature peacefully. If there is anything new regarding this, you will hear it from me. Don’t fret. Don’t panic. Stay calm, and enforce the NAP. That means not fighting against Poland in any RW. Honoring our agreement is the right thing to do. In general, we’re maintaining our friendships abroad. We’re maintaining our NAP. We’re maintaining our commitments. I promised you a steady hand and I am doing my best to deliver on that.

For those of you interested in new developments abroad, just be patient and watch the show. The new game mechanics are sure to provide some interesting TV. Lending a hand to our allies in the Balkans can also occupy your time.

So what did I hit on? ATO, Domestic, Foreign Affairs. If I left something out, leave it in the comments and I will seek to address it in the next article. I apologize for the week without an article, and the holidays coming up may slow the pace of the game, but we’ll do our best to keep you informed. For now, fight for our allies, uphold our agreements, and let me know what you want to know.
