[POTUS] Late Thank You's and an Update

Day 3,007, 20:57 Published in USA USA by Orikfricai

Wow, it's been a little over a week since being elected and it's been quite a trip already.

I won with over 64% of the votes. So, first, I want to thank everybody who voted for me, and the Federalist, We the People, and United States Workers Party Parties for endorsing me.

I also want to thank my opponents George Armstrong Custer, The Dark Knight, and nonak. All virtuous in their own right and deserving of the respect due to them.

On to the weekly recap:

Things started slowly with transitioning and accesses being sorted, after which, we got straight to business.

--

Jaden A., Secretary of State, got right to informing our allies and close friends of the regime change and has started a new Pacifica thread where we'll be continuing close communication.

--

Hale Kane, Secretary of Defense, has been hard at work keeping the United States Armed Forces running in Rainy Sunday's absence. Ups and downs have happened, but we're working to keep everything on track. Speaking of, USAF members, if you're willing to be active and put in some work, we're currently recruiting Regiment Captains and Hale Kane is looking for active Deputies.

--

Our NSC Directors, Azazel Romanov and Dinnyin, are working hard keeping Priority's up to date to help our allies. We're also monitoring the Spanish conquest of Japan and the Serbian presence in Canada as well as the geopolitics elsewhere.

--

Secretary of Media, James Schubert, published the first issue of WHPR this term on Wednesday:

[WHPR] War Report, Who Wants To Be a Millionaire, Interview With Federalist PP, Start Me Up: https://www.erepublik.com/en/article/2582204

If you're an aspiring writer, contact James Schubert and we'll get you started right away with another hard-hitting piece for our next publication.

And, finally, in Citizen Affairs, Secretaries Illiguy and EddieA have picked up where the previous administration and Hale26 have left off. Currently, they're looking for a replacement to direct the Stack the Wall and Bank Up 2 Strength Up programs. If you think you're that person, contact either of them today! The new DoCA Commission is also up and running with representatives across multiple parties.

If you're interested in working with one of the Directors as a Deputy or just a program Director, please contact either myself, Chief of Staff MrCarey, or the Secretary themselves. We're always looking for active individuals looking to get involved in government!

As you can see, the week has been pretty busy. But, a President's work is never done. There's always more to do. Speaking of which, it's get going. Blasting off again!
