Also we must be aware of risk with dirty money laundering. It can happened if one player tell us he will donate 500 gold to the country treasury and donation is made by his multi account. In that scenario our country would become creator of illegal activities and our organizations could be banned.

Every single donation should be verified by CP ticket to Community Department, or our Moderator can check this informations for us ( do not know exactly how we can find out who send gold, but I am sure one of this two ways will work fine ).

Unfortunately I am young and do not have to invest some gold myself, but profit is really high ( 30 cc at one donated gold, or for every 5.6 donated gold to the country treasury our citizens can earn 1 extra gold. ). Now imagine what would be like if someone can invest 560 gold and earn 100 more gold in minute. current price at Monetary market 1 GOLD "=" 169.994 NLG

I suspect there is the need of a screenshot as proof of donation, so letting other's donate is a marginal risk I'd say.

Charge for natives will probably only happen if the gold price stays very low and if there is a proper destination for that money, I would worry about it.

Organizations don't get banned that easily, especially not when the CT is in between.

As you can buy only 10 gold per day, it takes some time to buy the gold back. As the gold price is dynamic, it would be a good idea to put a minimum in every cycle. If we do it every 10 days, just donate 90-100G if you have it. If it so happens that the gold price will recover to above 200cc, you will sit on pile of cash that is accumulated with more gold than the current marketprice.

Who will manage it? You trannsvaal? And is congress in aprovement or is there the risk of blocking it as they are needed to propose laws and vote for them.
I can participate with several 100's of gold as it's flowing in much harder than it is going out...

I will make sure to get something up(motion or law) so congress will be pretty much obligated to accept every law once the program is accepted of course.
And I will be working it indeed.

Good to hear. I have all the confidence if you handle it. I just hope you will have more success in congress than I had in the past. Main advantage you have on this issues is that it is really simple. Just plain and simple straight math where things I developed in the past needed to be somewhat more complex to make something work.

Since when does the treasury directly support donations of gold?
Last time we had such a debate, only NLG could be donated.

Without the option to donate gold this whole scheme wouldn't work. Also note that congress tax in paid via the MM instead of via donations to the state. Now that direct donations are possible, we might want to alter this as well. Although that will definitely require IRC contact so that the transaction can be checked.

I asked when this option became available. I don't see any contradiction in then discussing the possibilities?

For the state itself it is hard to use the printing law for Money Generation, as there is no way to get the gold from the orgs into the treasury, except with the cooperation of a lot of players.
So if it remains this profitable, I guess at some point in the future we may want to give the players only ~95% of the printed CC, with a guarantee that if the gold price changes and the exchange is no longer profitable they get the full 100%.

Oh only thing people should realise; The amount of gold you can buy a day as a person is 10. So even if you issue 100's of gold you won't be able to repeat soon with that same amount as you can't convert back that quick. (Hence the 200-300 profit I mentioned on several occasion; 20-30 profit per gold per day).

Links to forum posts have always worked since I asked the admins to handle urls with & in them in a special way...
And that's been in November 2012, almost 2 years ago.

Note that other sites indeed will still get into trouble if an & sign is needed in the url, but at least our own forum bypasses the issue.

There is a limit of 400,000 CC to donation proposals? At least, that's what it looks like checking the Polish law proposals. So basically the upper limit of this program, from eNL's point of view is 2000 gold per day.
In principle that means ~250 people could be fully participating. I don't see big problems there. 🙂
