[MoI] End of term reports

Day 2,754, 05:16 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by Ministerie van Media en Recrui

Dear citizens of the eNetherlands,

We are near the end of this term again, and a lot happened this month. I have asked all ministers again to tell me about what they have done this term.

You may have noticed that there wasn't a mid-term update this term, this was because all the ministers were very busy with the war with Germany.
Country President, Kordak

It has been a very busy term this month, but we made the foundation for many more months to follow. Unfortunately we had the war with Germany that consumed a lot of our time, but we completed some other goals. First of all we reformed the MoI into one efficient ministry, I think this ministry also was the best performing this month. This reformed ministry worked on my most important project of my term: our university! The university is ready to start next month and will help our country to help citizens in the future. Another thing we worked on is improving our diplomatic relations with other countries than our traditional allies. It is important to keep our options open in a future where nothing is certain, I hope that future governments will not throw away this hard work.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gen de la Rey

Unfortunately, our MoFA decided to not let me publish her report. this is due to the fact that we are in a state of war, and most things that happened this month is still classified. The only thing she wanted me to tell you was this:

'We were working hard to get our friends to assist us with our war against the Germans. We have also been looking for additional friends to fill the vacuum left by recent developments.'
Minister of Defense, Walhallah

I expected it to be a relatively calm month after having secured all our regions last month. We started off easy and I expected to be able to put an effort into training some fresh deputies.
However, we were confronted with an attack on our neighbor eBelgium and we quickly did a fundraising for supplies which were hand out during the course of the campaign. This was a successfull action altho unfortunately we couldnt prevent eBelgium from being overrun by eJapan en eMontenegro and in the end signing an agreement.
Thinking that the calme had returneth, we set to work on a Joint Strike with ally off the week eUSA. Since they didnt have any battles going on at the time, we turned to eUK and found a click there to join in on their Strike. Adding a little competition we challenged them. Justifing the difference in strength we lost, but it was good fun and well documented here : http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/2526198/1/20
Shortly after that, our nation came to be in the spotlight when former ally eGermany decided to turn the tables and suddenly attack us. Once again, we organised fundraising and were handing out supplies for the course of a week. During this week we fought hard but from eGerman side the battles were not pushed fully to maximize TP. In the end we were actually being pushed back.
The Ministry has formed a RW Volunteer Team that can be deployed and start RW's anywhere globally. It currently consists of 13 highly motivated citizens that are willing to invest time and money into something that is always very complex for our government. Its simply too big a drain on our budgets to start RW's at will. So with this RWVT we are now exploring 'publiek private samenwerking' where MoD plans RW's as potentially succesfull as possible, and brings supplies and the individual team mebers invest the needed funding and provide quick damage for the first rounds. If you want to join this motivated and secretive part of our Military, send me a PM.

At that time it became apparent several countries decided on an attack on eGermany. For the Ministry this was a great opportunity to test the RWVT to start a RW in Southern Netherlands. Initially a drain battle the outcome was so succesfull that we are now looking forward to bringing in the campaign. Feel free to add more damage, to secure it.
All in all, it was a hell of a month.
Minister of Information, Konnes

Except for our usual work, we have done a lot this term. I will give you an overview on things, divergent from the usual work.

First of all, I have added some new articles to the usual ones. I have already published one of them, 'The votings this term', I also wanted to give an overview on all the debates that were going on this term, but I didn't really pay attention to it, so I hope it will be done next term

Gwom has had contact with the organisation of the e-eurovision songfestival, The MoI/C will publish an article on this soon 🙂

You may not have noticed it, but we were also busy with the University. Some people may ask why it takes so long, but this is because all the professors were quite busy this month, and we want to create a high quality University 🙂. The MoI/C will publish an article about the progress soon.

Unfortunately, Actinide turned inactive, and because of this, we had to cancel Mastermind, but I promise, there will come a great contest next month!

We will continue our work next month and we also hope we can start with the first course for the university.

Signing out 😉
Minister of Home Affairs, Ninapje

This month we have been working on creating a list of people that should be invited to join the country. All of them are safe and checked on potential dangers. We already did sent the first invitations and will pass on the list to the new MoHA team, since this will be different on both presidential candidates.
