[MoF] October Report

Day 2,910, 18:11 Published in Ireland South Korea by Don Croata

Hello Ireland,
firstly I’d like to apologise for couple of days delay of publishing this report, the last one has been published about 50 days ago, it was in the middle of September term and you can check how we were doing back then by opening this link

Since then our state of money has been greatly improved regardless of all the fights and battles we had, and that’s our biggest victory. Since most of money which was used for CO’s (about 2 millions IEP) has came from the private donations we were able to save up some funds and by using strict budgets and cutting the expenses we had. I would like to thank to all those who gave part of their money for eIreland, especially Colin of Ireland, moomoohead, BiednyMis and CrOmega. Those people/organisations has been biggest funders of our wars, especially Colin whose donations makes about 80% of money spent.

In the meantime I’ve spent all of my availiable time to make some money for eIreland and it was successful, we have made good amount of money and repayed all of our debts. I’m presenting you the Financial report for October (and half of September).

TOTALS:

Total money made: 442952 IEP
Total money spent/repayed debt: 213500 IEP
Total difference: +229452 IEP

Current amount of money in state accounts:
541200 IEP

As you can see this is another month of great profits made for Ireland, if we didn’t had to repay the debt we had we would end up with over 700000 IEP on our state accounts and that’s exactly our goal for the next 30 days. Hopefully, we will finally hit the 700k IEP goal in the end of the current term. Each month we end up with more money gives us more opportunities to make even more money. If I had bigger budget I would be able to make more money with given budget. That’s why saving money is still highly important, once we reach 1 million, or even 2 millions budget we will be able to afford things such as fixed military funding. As for now, we can afford some “smaller” projects, but we still have to be highly careful with how we spend our money.

That’s exactly the reason for the proposed MPP’s budget to our congress. As MoF, my duty given by the Constitution of Ireland is to propose MPP budget and recieve Congress support. The proposed budget is 30000 IEP, which will afford us 3 MPP’s. That doesn’t mean we won’t sign more than that, but the other MPP’s will be funded by either private donations or our friends from other countries who has been very cooperative and understanding for our financial situation. Things got hard after the robbery, but we are finally recovering from it.

The second proposed change to Congress has been tax change. There are two solutions, our MoD in cooperation with me as a MoF is starting 24/7 supplies for Irish citizens. With some limits and rules it should make sure our citizens are fighting where and when it’s needed and it wouldn’t cost us “much”. Of course, we can’t only rely on private donations of weapons and we have to keep resposible spendings. So, the proposed change to Congress was to raise Work Tax and most of the VATs on 4% (which is 1% higher). Money made this way (about 18 000 IEP monthly) would re-invest and it would be used to supply all our citizens which would be eligible to recieve weapons. Of course, the spreadsheet of supplies would be ‘open access’ and anyone could check where the tanks are being sent and for which battles. It’s a huge project for a country of our size and expected cost is about 70000 IEP per month. We expect that half of this would be covered by private donations. The rest of it would be covered by the taxes and from the treasury. This are only predictions made roughly, but any change would be furtherly discussed.

It’s on Congress to decide about that. For now, it seems like it will pass by majority of congressmen.

If you would like to donate your money to the eIreland, feel free to send your part directly to me or on one of our orgs (PM me and I will make an offer for you). I’m also planning to organise donations giveaway and one other project which you’re going to like, but let’s leave this for some other time. Anyway, thank you for reading and let’s hope for another successful month for our finances!

Yours,
Don Croata, Irish Minister of Finances
