WTF 1-5000 pp get nothing........... so prox 4500 pp wasted and rewards go to the players in higher div's....

i am & was still an enl citizen and fought for NL in my opinion .

But still the plan is lame to cut out lower div's that didn't make the 5K mark.

lower dib's shouldnt even fight...

i think it's up to everybody for her/himself to decide or not..... and if you issue a reward for those who did fight you can't set a barriere ....
IMO its either you give everyone that fought a reward or you don't give a reward at all.

But by setting that threshold and give some players a reward for fighting and others nothing ......you just devide the cohesision if there's any....but thats my personal opinion

the threshold for rewards was set before it started. so everybody that fought knew what the minimum they had to get was.

just let it flow back into the country so that it can benefit all citizens and not just an elite group, than ur argument for lower lvl's NOT to fight to benefit 'ALL" would be a strong point.
Now you ask people not to fight so the reward for a few would be even better...... just shows that the lack of cohesion is still there in eNL.

So you would like to see citizens benefiting from the fact that we reached 11th place and not 10th? (and missing 2000G in the process) They knew up front what was going to happen and could have chosen to land on 0PP and claim the reward for that.

Everyone in a dutch MU who fills in the form gets money out of this. Except for the people who harmed our country with less than 5000 PP. It was very clear before the tournament started that people in the lower divs shouldn't fight. If you don't listen to any advice, If you aren't active enough to read the specific information of this tournament, you won't get money.

With this system we give everyone who particpated in a good way money. We are rewarding people who are active and listen to the government and who helped us to reach 11 place. People who did and do the opposite, are participating in a bad way or not at all. I don't see any reason to reward people for this. It's just a waste of money.

yup that is what it means to play as a team.....but i could redirect the question, so you would like that even less people would have fought for a bigger reward for the happy few???

Leaving lower lvl's with a small reward for not fighting and the happy few with huge rewards....

To me that is not what a team is all about, sacrifices should be made by both ends.

But hey if you want to be a presidents candidate that keeps the happy few in your corner fine , but don't blame the lower lvl players for fighting in a tournament that was meant for all players for missing out on 2000G that would only benefit the happy few.

Like i said before a society is as strong & good as they take care of their weakest "team members"

In my pov this only creates multiple sides in a small society that needs all to survive in this harsh world...... but hey thats a matter of opinions we don't share.

@Spir tus advice is something different than telling peeps what to do or not to do .
That is ordering peeps to do things and if they don't they are punished.....
Thats not a democracy but a dictatorship like policy......

(so you're rewarding the peeps that listen and do what they are told to do and if the don't they are a waste of time & money to you....., thats a pretty bold statement.....)

But you're forgetting that you need these same rogue players in future battles.

Myself i couldn't care less for your rewards, i got out of it what i wanted m8 , but you can't say that players like nomadic that just fell short of that 5K mark harmed the country......

If you don't know the entire story, just don't start whining. The rewards for players not fighting were dynamic for the ones that stepped aside as well. So the ones scoring a few points also fucked it up for the little ones as well, while they themselves even could have gotten a nice reward if they did something for the team, instead of something for themselves!

This is something thats feels familliar .......coz we (as a country) have been in these situations / discussions before, so nothing new under the sun.

I'm perfectly fine with a different opinion, but a classification of the path we take as 'zuigt als een mofo' doesn't really urge me to stay polite if I see that your reasoning is clearly missing some facts.

So if you want a decent discussion I'm all yours. But don't say that we aren't asking instead of telling people what to do as we didn't rob anything from them what was theirs in the first place. Don't say players who stood on the sideline for the benefit of our country aren't dealing in the possibility of bigger rewards. And don't say we only give to a select few as the list of players who will receive a reward is already 75 players long.

and still i've the opinion that you should be more leanient towards players like nomadic that fell only a few hundred pp short of 5 K , but thats my personal opinion

1: Dit is geen plan, dit is voor het toernooi begon al vastgelegd. Anders zou er onduidelijkheid kunnen zijn. Dit is ook destijds doorgestuurd in ieder geval naar iedereen in de DAF, en viel na te lezen voor eNL burgers op ons forum.
2: we hebben die 5000 ook aan het begin vastgelegd. Ik had een voorstel gedaan om dat 50% van het gemiddelde te maken, maar dan was het van tevoren minder duidelijk hoeveel dat nou precies zou zijn, en konden personen door die onduidelijkheid buiten de boot vallen. Dus daar zijn we toen niet voor gegaan.
3: Het spreekt voor zich dat dit geldt voor personen die meedoen aan het toernooi namens eNL. Niet voor personen die voor zeg Nieuw Zeeland meedoen en daar 100000 PP halen, en ons daarmee juist een top 10 plaats kosten. Als je geen PM hebt gehad aan het begin van het toernooi is dat dan ook zeker correct.
4: Iedereen mocht meedoen, ongeacht divisie. Maar dan moeten ze wel serieus meedoen, om ons gemiddelde niet te veel omlaag te halen. Vandaar het minimum van 5000 en het advies om niet mee te doen als je onder de 10000 denkt te komen. Maar een ander advies was om ook aan je experience te denken en niet mee te doen behalve in D4.
5: Iedereen die niet meedoet is immers verzekerd van een mooie bonus van 20 goud als we top 10 zouden eindigen, en 12 goud voor eindigen in de top 20. En voordat je dat evenaart moet je dus duidelijk boven de 5000 PP komen.
6: Als minder mensen mee hadden gedaan, dan hadden ze 20 goud gekregen. Dat is serieus geld. We hebben het over ~200 actieve leden van eNL MUs. Als 50 daarvan meedoen, en 150 niet, dan hadden die 150 leden samen 3000 goud gehad, en die andere 50 mochten dan 1000 goud verdelen. De rest komt in de staatskas. Het is dus absoluut niet waar dat het merendeel van het goud bij een kleine elite uitkomt.
Nu dat het totaal 3000 goud is in plaats van 5000 gaat alles 40% omlaag. Evenredig over alle groepen.

I'm finding the phrase eNL citizen confusing...

Do you mean the people ((part of eNL MUs) or (not members of any MU and eNL citizen))? Those are the people that could have fought for eNL during the tournament.
This is especially a relevant question, seeing that our #1 player, Alexander Machev, is not an eNL citizen, while he did almost 20% of the total PP we got from players above 5k PP.

he and many others joined small countries for the badge on his profile. they did not join because of the monetary reward. all eNL citizens in eNL MU's that either did not fight or fought to get above 5k pp are eligible for the rewards.

So we are talking about "eNL citizens, either member of no MU, or member of an eNL MU".

That makes sense, although it seems to neglect the fact that the 11 members of Chilean Army that participated actually got an average score above our average. I feel that their MU as a whole deserves a "thanks" for that.
Although only 3 people are responsible for this: Alexander Machev, Alessandri, and Don Gabo.

Alexander Machev is a player from mercenary ops in Bulgaria. Just like many big shot, he came over to a small country to collect the badges and vanish afterwards. He could as well have come over to another MU so counting his PP for CA isn't really fair imo. So that throws their average down to several 1000s of prestige below our countries average. And when I tried to contact their leaders to ask their help and discuss matters there was sadly no proper response..

If they didn't respond that sounds like a fair reason to exclude them.
At least a lot fairer than "because they are foreign".

From the begining of this project i had a vision that EVERYONE should get their prize equally.

Many people was thinking "I can handle to 5000PP so i can win more gold" just like Trannsvaal idea was.
But as we see more of them dont get into it.
If we would stay with mine idea to give everyone the same amount i think many of lower lvls player would not even try to fight, so our average would be much bigger.

But again, this is only my opinion, I wrote it down before tournament but it was declined ...

I think everyone would be getting less, except for those between 1 and 7000 PP or so.
We would never have made it to place 11 if there was no reason not to fight. Having that by rewarding the people staying out of the tournament, seemed much fairer.

The only people for who this is a bad thing are those who did less than say 7000 PP but who participated. But they are the ones who seriously reduced our average...
