Hello again from the Ministry of Finance!

This is your weekly update article on the state of the nation’s finances and how I’ve been enjoying swimming in the few coppers we have left in the treasury, a la Scrooge McDuck (albeit a much poorer version).

Feels like I’ve stolen an old MoD theme here…

With the return of one of our regions, the North West of England, we’ve experienced a small increase in tax revenue, up from 20% to just under 27%, the remainder still falling into the Argies’ pockets unfortunately.

It seems from the figures that with the return of one region we have instilled a little more confidence in the market too, despite the deal for the region stifling us militarily at least for the remainder of this term. Day 2,792 still appears to be an anomaly, but despite that we should still bring in enough to cover two MPPs just from our tax income this term.

And so to the graphs...

And our lost tax to Argentina:

Organisation Loans

We charge a mere £1k to rent one of these fine British organisations, so if you do fancy a flutter on the markets it really is a good deal. This week we have secured the rent on a few more of these, but there are still others to go around.

There are a number available to loan for your transactions on the monetary market when you’ve exceeded your player 10g limit. If you’re interested send me a PM and £1k and I’ll message you the login details.

Selected Available Orgs
-Department of Munitions
-Royal Navy Advertee Unit
-UK Army VI
-UK Army VII
-UK Army VIII

Payment to the Argies

The loaned £50k that was paid to Argentina to secure the return of NWoE by Country President Applebum has already been paid back into the accounts, so there has been no loss to the taxpayers on that front.

Until next week….you’ll be you and I’ll be
