Income

Providing there is no region loss from the war with France and congress don't decide to change any taxes, based upon last terms tax take and after some simple statistical analysis, our predicted income for the term should rest between 151Kcc and 194K cc with the expected result being around the 175k mark. This allows for reasonable variability in the markets and doesn’t take into account the effects of tournaments and promotions, which can be difficult to predict at best.

This excludes income from Org Renting, if you want to rent an Org for the term contact either myself or Huey George


Expenditure

From this I would suggest that our current 13 MPP’s are a little excessive and congress should evaluate the benefits of these. Less militarily active allies moving to a more reactive MPP scenario, where an MPP is only made if one side requires the damage for a conflict will save money. Missing half a month’s MPP over a quiet patch saves us effectively 5K.

I would recommend attempting to trim this to 10 over the term providing our conflict with France doesn't drag on too long.

CO use will be kept down where possible


Loans

Given recent thefts, it is important to have a fiscally positive month. This allows to firstly increase our treasury reserves allowing us greater flexibility in the future. Currently our ability to lend gold is somewhat smaller than in the past as we will each month be giving out proportionally more of the treasury than normal. This means in times of war we may struggle to provide loans when TG sales occur.


If we had a larger reserve I would want to increase lending significantly to help players to develop their economic side and not just for their training grounds, however given the situation, this presents a higher risk than is ideal. Providing no expensive conflicts occur in the term, this could be reviewed, however tese would remain available to trusted players and those with a history of repaying government loans.


Its also important given that we have far smaller reserves than at any time in the past we allocate some money for loans that are not repayed. I would expect well over 10% are not repaid and this is far higher when the MoF changes hands and lists are lost, Its important that Hueys system of posting names in MoF articles is upheld. I would hope to try and leave the term with an increase in treasury of at least 10% of the amount loaned (less the value loaned out)


Fishing

MM fishing wont occur this term, with small returns for the investment and the market remaining somewhat uncertain below the 200cc/G threshold potential gains could be lost very easily by a relatively small market swing.
Im sure many will be happy to see funds safely in the country accounts and away from potential theft.

Big Ant

I will message him asking for the money back… Unsure how successful that will be.

Bazooka packs

The admins have noticed how poor value their previous promotions on these posed to citizens and have adjusted them accordingly.
Whilst many can hit much higher with Q7’s than bazookas their 1 hit kill ability remains attractive in earning Freedom fighter medals. If you have a lot of stocks and other parts lying around then 55 sights or projectiles could be a financially beneficial purchase for 2G. This would give you 165kills that are easy to obtain, if you have easier Freedom fighter kill numbers this could be beneficial to you.
Use your head and do some simple maths.


Org Recovery


Following non recovered passwords upon BA’s impeachment, new emails have had to be created for the orgs, we are implementing a simpler system that should make it easer to hand over to future governments (providing plato plays ball)
Hopefully we should have them all back soon, all orgs we don't have passwords for are empty currently so that is no significant threat.
