Terwijl eNederland is verwikkeld in een zware strijd met ePolen...
Polen is binnen erepublik een zeer sterk land. Dit momenteel 18 regio’s tellende land heeft in totaal 12160 inwoners. Het behoord daarmee tot één van de grootste landen. Één van de vervelendste eigenschappen van ePolen is het aanvallen van eNederland. Dit is iets wat ze in de historie, maar ook nu weer blijven doen. Het doel hiervan is zowel nu, als vroeger, het veroveren van onze olie voorraad. eNederland is geen groot land, maar we bezitten in het westen een mooie olie voorraad en dat is ook ePolen opgevallen. Ik ben voor dit artikel de stoffige eNl archieven ingedoken om de onderste steen boven te halen.

In januari 2011 weet Polen ons voor het eerst van de kaart te vegen. Nederland weet na meerdere RW’s een aantal regio’s terug te veroveren. Maar lange tijd gaat een groot deel van de Nederlandse regio’s gebukt onder de Poolse bezetting.
Hierna volgt een lange strijd van verovering en herovering. Op het ene moment waren we volledig terug om vervolgens weer van de kaart te worden geveegd. Ook in het begin van 2012 is Nederland volledig van de kaart verdwenen. Gelukkig weet Nederland na een reeks van RW’s, met behulp van EDEN, terug te keren op de kaart.
Nederland gaat een veilige periode tegemoet. Duitsland, een bondgenoot van Nederland, ligt als buffer tussen de twee landen zodat we relatief veilig liggen.
Todat in april dit jaar Polen voor de zoveelste keer Duitsland veroverd. Zo staat Polen weer aan de grens van ons land. Oost Nederland hebben ze in bezit en op dit moment probeert men door te stoten naar onze olie voorraad in West Nederland.
Het is nu wel duidelijk dat het Polen alleen om onze olie voorraad gaat. Polen bezit zelf geen olie en wij zijn voor hun het makkelijkste doelwit met olie. Wat tot gevolg heeft dat Polen ons met enige regelmaat probeert te veroveren.
Maar uiteindelijk zal de overwinning aan ons zijn.
Of zoals we hier in Zeeland zeggen: Luctor et Emergo.
ePolen vecht voor onze olie, om zo nog meer te kunnen vechten.

While eNetherlands is engaged in a heavy war with ePoland...
Poland is a very strong country in eRepublik. It currently consists of 18 regions and has a total of 12160 citizens. With this, it is one of the largest countries around. One of the most annoying qualities of ePoland is their attacks on eNetherlands. This is something they did in the past, but also today. Their goal is, and was, our oil reserves. eNetherlands isn’t a large country, but we own a large supplies or oil in the western region of our country and ePoland has also noticed this. For this article, I’ve ducked deep into the dusty eNL archives and get the bottom stone up.

In January 2011 manages Poland to whipe us from map for the first time. The Netherlands are able to get a few region back through RW’s. But for a long period, a part of the Dutch regions will be occupied by the Polish.
After this, a long struggle of victories on both side follows. One moment we are back on the map, only to be wiped from it a moment later. In the beginnen opf 2012, Holland is gone from the map completely. Luckily, after a series of RW’s, and the help of EDEN, we are able to return to the map. eNetherlands enters a period of relative peace. Germany, an ally of the Netherlands forms a buffer between us and Pland, making us relatively safe for the moment.
Untill April this year, when Poland conquers Germany again. This means Poland is at our borders once again. At the time of writing they succesfully occupy East Netherlands and are waging war on West to get to our oild reserves.
It is clear that it’s all about our oil for the Polish. They do not own any oild themselves and we are the easiest target in the area with oil. The result of this is the constant threat of a Polish occupation.
But eventually we will be victorious.

Nice article, but I fail to see the point. Why the need for oil. There are different raws giving a bonus, but as far as I know the all give the same bonus. No need for oil above, say iron or salpeter as far as I know. Someone who can clarify that for me?
There are 10 different types of resources in the game. 5 types for food production and 5 types for weapon production. Each resource gives 20% for that type of production to all citiziens of the country occupying that region. So to get the maximum amount of 100% bonus for your production you need at least one region from all 5 different types.
For example, holding 2 regions with iron only gives 20% bonus. But holding an iron ánd a oil region gives 40% bonus.
Aha. 5, but one from all. That one I missed. I thought just random 5. I already didn't follow the math when we occupied Belgium. Thx for explaining!
