Writing newspaper articles is one of the most unique aspects of eRepublik whether you want to voice your opinion on a certain matter, post jokes[memes] for fun or want to announce your arrival in this game to make friends, and for these reasons it is also one of the most important things to learn and execute properly.


So the first thing is to set up your newspaper, to do this

1-Click the the big blue Community button on the top bar

2-Click the My Newspaper button on the drop down menu

3-Click the Create Newspaper button to view the Create Newspaper screen.
The screen shows the amount of Gold you have and the requirements needed to create a newspaper.

2 GOLD
Experience level 9 (130 Experience points)

4-Type a unique name for your newspaper (6 to 25 characters)

only letters, numbers and ! # $ % * ? | . / ^ { } ` ~ & ' + - = _ are allowed.

5-Add a picture for an avatar [ Preferably a picture that appears "deep" and most importantly is cool ]

6- Click Create and you're done YAY BUT there are loads of things to know before you become an Epic writer. As you can see this article looks quite boring without any pictures





See that spiced it up right? To insert Pictures or links in your newspaper follow the steps below.



Links and images

- Add image to the article (Prompt box will appear asking you the URL of image)

- Add URL to the article (Tip: Select text before you press the URL-button to make the text as link)


Alright? Now I will be hosting a photography competition as it's kind of a hobby and all. The competition will be held next week so send one URL of your photo to me personally preferably with a small description before wednesday 14th Jan. Then we will hold a vote through the comment section and the winner will get whatever amount of that people have endorsed that article. So send them to me and I hope alot of you will participate. It could be picture from your phone or DSLR JUST SEND IT!
