[MoC] A random competition

Day 2,575, 20:33 Published in Ireland Ireland by Patrick O'leary

As I sit here, watching the Green Bay Packers demolish the Falcons, I checked eRepublik (as inactive as I am/was, this was a great achievement.)

I had many messages, apparently Fritzhill remembered me when I asked him not to steal my Campaign Hero, and had appointed me Minister of the Vaguely Aware Community. Among the very detailed message from the previous MoC, he said 'run a competition'.

So, it's late at night, and I intend to come up with some competition other than the stupid lottery tickets.

I've got it! I said to myself, drawing strange looks from my roommates. I'll do a quiz, with a twist! This is final exam season, after all. So, without further extraneous words, here it goes.

Below will be 15 questions. I will ask each of you to send me 75 IEP (5 IEP per question) Consider this 75 IEP a wager. Each question you get right, you get +1. Each question wrong, -1. I'll take your total points, and divide it by 15 possible points. The resulting percentage is how much money you will receive.

Man, I'm terrible at explaining. I'm a finance/accounting major, so here's the formula in my head.
C = Number of questions correct, N= Number wrong.
(15+C-N)/15= XXX%
XXX% * 75 = Funds given to entrant.

Clear? Okay. Send me messages with your answers to these, and we'll give out money like it's Christmas!! I'll stop accepting entries on day 2579, and release an article of who is the smartest person in eIreland.

A few friendly reminders to the eIrish community -
Please let everyone know that the MoC will use this paper this month, the MoC is vastly more ineffective if nobody sees my articles.
This is a fun competition, and the internet knows everything. Is it really a competition if the internet answers things for you?
I remember about the time I stopped paying attention there were grumblings that the MoC was no longer impartial. As I truly don't care, the MoC will be impartial this term.

Well eIreland, I hope to hear from you all soon. Good luck!

This has been Patrick O'Leary, the newly appointed MoC.
