G'Day mates, firstly I would like to thank all the members of ADP who voted for me in the ballot for support. I am truly honoured you chose to support me.
Therefore it is time I put my run for CP at full speed. I shall be publishing in detail articles regarding each area of my policies over the next few days. However i shall be opening the applications for Cabinet right now.
This joke never gets old
As you can see the cabinet is very empty right now meaning all jobs within cabinet are still available. Everyone is welcome regardless of their party(MUST be an eAussie citizen) Click HERE to apply.
Ministry Roles
Here is a brief job description for each of the Ministries, I shall go into more detail when I discuss each area in further articles.
vCP/Prime Minister- To assist and advise myself and help out in ministries as appropriate.
Defence- To help organise and coordinate eAus military resources. Will sit on the Military Council. To work alongside MoEd with strengthening young players.
Finance- To keep record of incoming and outgoing expenses. To create a budget and assign finance to each ministry as appropriate. To explore options to generate extra revenue. To help coordinate the "help to buy scheme".
Foreign Affairs- To assist in discussions with other countries. To work alongside MoD when organising military campaigns or creating channels of communications with those we intend to help.
Education- To work alongside/operate young player schemes throughout eAustralia.
Cabinet Structure
As you will see upon opening the application I have gone for a Minister and Vice Minister structure for each ministry. I have done this for 3 main reasons: firstly that it will lighten the work load on them, Secondly I am aware that players can not always be online so having 2 people means there is more likely to be someone from each ministry online and Thirdly is to help players who are climbing the political ladder who aren't experienced enough to be minister but can learn and gain the experience as vice.
Although i shall be working with each ministry i shall also be giving those who receive the jobs some independence on how they organise the division of work. If the minister decides to hand a certain task or job to the vice then they can do so. For example if the MoD wishes to leave supplying to the vMoD they can do. Obviously if Ministers or I think something is not being done right I shall intervene.
Other Ministries
You will also notice that on the bottom of the list of ministries is an "other" option. This is there for 1 main reason:
To give you a chance to come up with a ministry that is not already there but will benefit eAustralia. I have left out ministries that I know exist elsewhere (like Minister of Entertainment) because I am not sure how many applicants there will be. I am leaving non-vital ministry roles open to you to decide whether you want them there or not.
If I believe that the ministry you propose is worthwhile then I WILL support it and help it. Please enter the details of the ministry in the section provided on the form.
Apprentice Jobs
Although they are not yet included I shall be adding what I am calling "Apprentice Jobs". These jobs will be more intended for communication roles and minor tasks and primarily aimed at our young players who are finding their feet on the political ladder. I will open up applications for this once the main cabinet is set up. There will be as many jobs here as the minister is willing to take on, so each ministry will more than likely have a different number of apprentices. They will be involved in inter-ministerial chats and just be around to learn what a ministry does and how it operates in the hope that in the next CP election they can soundly enter applications for more full on Ministerial roles.

Great article my dear friend Jon.Good luck on elections.When Dr Hugh Jardon support and pick the right person for the CP role he had never wrong,so I am sure that in this he picked the right person for the CP.Voted,subed.

I wish you luck, Jon. Can I call you Jonno? It would be downright un-Australian if not. Kidding with you mate, whatever you prefer. I'd love to help in finance as I run a fishing and tour operator and doing books and budgets is part of the terrain of operating a business. That said, I'm in the KHMC and as much you're being a real bloke to open the doors to all, I acknowledge an application would be wasting our time.

Jon publicly asked for people to apply from all parties, Jon picks his cabinet. it'll be a JonWilliamson cabinet and not an ADP one. The people vote for a President and not a party on the 5th and Jon is more than welcome to appoint who he thinks will do a good job for him if he wins. If people don't apply because they are too busy nailing themselves to a crucifix then that's not Jon's fault. 😉
It's not anything again mate. Presidents may be able to pick whoever they want but the fact remains they're in a room of people who have to want to work with them. Being a name on a piece of paper isn't my idea of work.
