[IRULE4POTUS] Defense and Foreign Affairs

Day 2,446, 12:24 Published in USA USA by irule777

eRepublik is a game of constantly changing allies, enemies, and scenarios. For the month ahead I am hoping to strengthen our existing ties to other nations, as well as build new ones. I am want to give America the defensive and offensive base that it will continue to need.

As occurred during the current term, my National Security Council Chair will continue to coordinate the military units of the United States. This is an important step to ensuring that we can effectively dish out damage, save money, and keep America’s defenses moving properly. My NSC chair is excited to continue with this, and will of course look to coordinate America’s military in the best manner possible in the month ahead.

This month we’re looking to keep our current overseas regions, and we are prepared to ensure that we can do so. This month we saw improved relations with Cuba in the form of a rental agreement, and I’m happy to see America getting the resources it needs while improving relations with our neighbors and intend to continue to work hard to do so.

America also welcomed the nation of Latvia to Pacifica, and I am quite excited about it. It is growing our alliance through great additions like Latvia that will give America the diplomatic strength it needs to stay safe. For its size, Latvia dishes out a great deal of damage, is active, and has wonderful diplomatic connections, and we are very happy to have them in Pacifica. My team will work hard next month to ensure that we keep up relations with the two other members of Pacifica and will be pushing us to coordinate and continue to work together well.

Improving relations beyond Pacifica is, of course, always an important task for any foreign policy team, and it is something we will surely be doing next month as well. It is important to build relations with nations that we have MPPs with, and even some we do not, to ensure the potential for growth in our foreign policy is always available.

The Mike is joining my team as Secretary of State, and I’m extremely excited to welcome him on board. The Mike has been a Deputy Secretary of State, is active, and brings some new perspectives to a department that is used to the same group of Secretaries for the most part. With some experience, some new ideas, and some great deputies, I am looking forward to seeing our foreign affairs team in action.

Next month we will also be bringing back the Ambassador program, an important tool that allows us to keep up relations with many nations. It allows us to get reports on the events of the world, keep foreign governments updated on our tasks and events, and all while encouraging new players to get involved in foreign policy. Foreign affairs is standardly a hard department to get involved in, and with the ambassador program not only can we provide a useful tool to the State department, but we can also make experience in the department something achievable for all. I’m looking forward to Director DylanBAS running a wonderful program that we’ve already had loads of interest in.

I will absolutely be available all month at all hours of the day for any meetings that may occur, and so that other foreign officials will always be able to directly contact the CP if needed.

America has an interesting road ahead with our foreign goals, and I think DMJ and I primarily agree in foreign policy and in defense, which is why I am not campaigning on it too significantly. I am looking forward to working hard to ensure the United States continues to move forward, as our safety and our partnerships are one of the most important things for our nation.
