[Info] - Citizen Support Programs Available

Day 1,677, 00:16 Published in Belgium Belgium by eBelgian Presidency

Greetings eBelgians!

If you are new to eBelgium, you may not be aware of all the benefits that the Government provides.

Free gold for strength training, free food and tanks each day, loans, funds to upgrade your town center, and military units for you to join!

Citizen Packs
Available to all eBelgians is the citizen pack program. By requesting your citizen pack each day on the official forums, you will be provided with tanks and food to help you. Simple, fast, just a quick forum post, and within a day (sometimes there is a delay) goodies show up in your storage. bri2048 is administering the program, so if you see him around, be sure to show off your new tanks!

Land Subsidies
If you've been registered on the forums for a couple weeks, then you may qualify for the various land subsidies. To help you build up your town center, the building that lets you recover more health, eBelgium provides assistance in buying the land, companies, and the cost of the buildings. Djony is administering the program, so invite him over to your new town center if you see him. Full details are on the forums here:

Boost Your Strength!
Boost Your Strength (BYS) is a program that provides a weekly stipend to qualified eBelgians to be able to use the climbing center (0.19 Gold/Use) each day at no cost (that's 1.33 gold a week... for free!). The eBelgian must meet several requirements, such as upgraded training grounds and climbing center and town center. Full details of BYS is available here:

There is a companion program, called BYS2, which is the uber-version of BYS, with a higher subsidy but much higher qualifications. Full details of BYS2 is available here:

One note about upgrading training centers... eRepublik has run discount promotions on a lowered cost to upgrade your centers, but there isn't a real way to predict when the next one will be. The Q2 to Q3 upgrade promotion would save you 30 gold, and it may happen next week, next month, or next year.

Pulse Subsidy
Pulse is an add-on for your browser that helps you and your Military Unit (MU) leader keep track of where and how often you fight. To encourage players to download and install the add-on, eBelgium provides a one-time subsidy. boer jan the mighty is administering the pulse program. Full details are available here:

Gold Loans
The eBelgian congress has set aside a pool of funds for eBelgians to borrow from as part of the various upgrades (such as a Q2 climbing center). Full details are available here:

eBelgian Lottery
Exactly what it sounds like... free stuff just for playing! Head on over and sign up, and be sure to tell Cooke4444 how awesome he is (be accurate though, don't over or underestimate his awesomeness, of which he is replete).

Military Units
eBelgium has several different Military units for you to chose from, some with minimal requirements, and some for only the most formidable of fighters.

The Belgian Training Academy is a military unit for players new to the game and below around 1000 strength. It provides a daily ration of food and tanks to help the newest players advance in might. Very friendly, perfect place to ask questions and learn the military side of eRepublik. Headed by BrunoCND, a man both Bruno and CND, and quick with a beret, too!

The Belgian Civilian Army is a military unit for those who aren't into "rules" and "regulations" and getting bossed about. It is a MU for people to join who want to be able to do a "Daily Order" (DO) at their own pace, or not, and maybe take a nap. All optional, but joining does give you the option to get that Bazooka and energy Bar each day. No supplies are provided, but again, you can do the DO if you want. Headed by Aldous Zamiatin of Legendary Force (and a legendary force).

The Belgian National Army is the military unit for those fighters who have outgrown the Belgian Training Academy, and are motivated and willing to work and fight in a structured MU. There are requirements to work in a company managed by a Supply Officer of the MU, fight when asked to once or twice a week, and use the Pulse add-on. The benefits are vastly increased supplies which are well worth it! tecuvo, a fighter so fowl he can only be described as unquackable, is the commander of the Belgian National Army.

The Belgian Paras is the elite eBelgian Military Unit. Only the best and strongest are asked to join its ranks (seriously, invite only). The top fighters of eBelgium are tasked with both defending eBelgium and helping our friends and allies around the eWorld. A highly mobile and motivated strike force, the Paras are a fellowship of a fearsome force of frightening furor. ThomasRed is the commander of these fellows (and lady). The Paras form the a separate division within the in-game BNA MU.

So be sure to head over to the official forums (link below) and check out what can be gotten!
