[ILP] First Update

Day 2,796, 14:09 Published in Ireland USA by Raven Anarcho

Comrades,

First of all I would like to thank everyone who voted this past election. Now on to business. I'll be discussing updates on our Leadership Council, A party anthem, international relations, the Dail elections and the upcoming Comrade Awards.

LEADERSHIP COUNCIL

The leadership council is currently determining which members will step down this term, and I am looking for volunteers to freshen up the council. Send me a pm if you'd like to volunteer or state so in the party thread. I hope to replace up to two members with newer faces. We are currently deciding whether I will select the 1 or 2 new members or if the council will collectively vote.

ILP ANTHEM

It's about time we chose a song to represent the party. First we'll collect nominations, then vote on a song. The song will be shared in future articles as well as played on our site homepage.

ILP SITE

Within the week I hope to begin boosting our activity on our site @ indielabour.guildportal.com There are a number of features on the site including an image gallery, schedule calendar, forum, and polls.

Now's a good time to sign up if you haven't already. o/

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

The ILP is currently a member in the eComintern as well as the new United Left. We are also working on building relations with another left-wing party. We intend to start a joint message thread, meet on IRC, share articles and information, and learn from one another. More information will come in the next update.

DAIL ELECTIONS

We should have a region or two by the next Dail election. Be sure to apply from the region we will be holding onto in the next few weeks. Please let me know in the party thread as well if you'd like to take part this term.

COMRADE AWARDS

I'll be preparing the Comrade Awards soon to acknowledge some of the hard workers in the party. I'm hoping to add the awards to the ILP site as well so we can keep track of past achievements.

MY CURRENT MISSION

I've been busy these first 2 days with leading the party. Aside from that, once everything calms down a bit I hope to get Tailteann's site more active again as well as taking another position in government within the next 2 terms.
