Hieronder vindt u een update van de zaken waar de regering de afgelopen periode mee bezig is geweest. Elk ministerie geeft u een update van de laatste ontwikkelingen.

Het overzicht bevat nieuws van:
- Country President
- Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken.
- Ministerie van Financiën.
- Ministerie van Defensie.
- Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken.
- Ministerie van Onderwijs en Cultuur.



Country President

Mijn grootste doel is bereikt, we zijn trial member van EDEN! Ik heb hieraan voorafgaand erg veel contact gehad met EDEN en dat mocht baten. Verder heeft het begin van mijn termijn in het teken gestaan van bondgenoten zoeken. Wij zijn er voor hen, en zij voor ons. De ministeries hebben in de tussentijd zelfstandig en verantwoordelijk gewerkt. Ik ben erg trots op hen! Ga zo door, dan wordt dit een fantastische termijn.

De overige doelstellingen en resultaten worden hieronder per Ministerie behandeld.

Binnenlandse Zaken

eNederland is de afgelopen maanden flink gegroeid qua aantal ingame citizens. Helaas hebben nog niet alle nieuwe (en ook oudere) spelers de weg gevonden naar onze community op het forum. De komende periode zal het Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken inzetten op betere communicatie naar en contact met zo veel mogelijk eNL burgers. Om dit te bereiken zullen we een nieuwe impuls geven aan de samenwerking met het Ministerie van Onderwijs, Cultuur en Coaching.

Het gedeelte op het forum voor nieuwe spelers wordt doorgelicht met de ambitie het vooral gebruikersvriendelijker en overzichtelijker te maken. We willen concreet een start maken met het inventariseren en beantwoorden van Veelgestelde Vragen op het forum.

Daarnaast zetten we het werk voort dat eerder is ingezet op het aanschrijven van forumleden in de eNL Burgers groep zonder link naar hun eRepublik account. Verder willen we de mogelijkheden onderzoeken van het contacten van forumleden die langere tijd niet actief zijn geweest op het forum.

Financiën

Het ministerie werkt op dit moment aan een nieuw Financieel overzicht. Het zal veel meer gebruikersvriendelijk worden dan het huidige 'oude' overzicht. Je kan het hier vinden: http://tiny.cc/eNL-Finance

Verder zijn we bezig met plannen om Q5 Weapons producers and Q5 Food producers aan te schrijven om een gedeelte van hun voorraad op te kopen voor de staat. We zijn nog aan het kijken of dit haalbaar is.

Defensie

Het Ministerie van Defensie zal deze termijn werken aan het afmaken van wat er vorige termijnen is opgezet. Sommige zaken verdienen wat finetuning en uitbreiding, daarnaast moeten de procedures ook globaal op papier worden gezet, zodat toekomstige Ministers hier ook mee uit de voeten kunnen.

De voorraad zal verder aangevuld moeten worden, zodat we bij belangrijke battles voldoende wapens kunnen inzetten.

Als laatste zullen we ons inzetten voor het opzetten van een Military Council, om de procedures en kwaliteit van het leger te kunnen blijven waarborgen in de toekomst.

Buitenlandse Zaken

In de afgelopen week is het Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken bezig geweest met het afsluiten van mutual protection pacts met sterke bondgenoten als Roemenië, Bulgarije, Griekenland en Ierland en voortzetting van de mpp met USA. De contacten met sterke Eden landen zijn verder uitgebreid. Dat geldt ook voor de contacten met Eden Head Quarters, essentieel nu we als trial member zijn toegelaten.

Ook zijn de relaties met Kroatië nog inniger geworden en verder hebben we nieuwe vrienden gemaakt in Egypte, door de daar wonende Kroaten. Tot slot zijn er contacten aangegaan met Taiwan, Portugal, en Argentinië.

Onderwijs, Cultuur en Coaching

Het Ministerie van Onderwijs, Cultuur en Coaching gaat deze maand in samenwerking met het Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken de hele portefeuille kritisch bekijken. Dit betekent het vernieuwen van tutorials, ze toegankelijker maken en nieuwe maken. Zoals al aangegeven door het Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken staan ‘Veelgestelde Vragen’ op de agenda, kleine hulpdocumenten, voor nieuwe spelers die tegen concrete zaken aanlopen en zich (nog) niet willen verdiepen in ellenlange artikelen.

Ook zullen we pogen het coaching systeem herin te voeren, zij het in een gesimplificeerde vorm. Verder zullen we beraadslagen over hoe ons forum, het hart van ons land, toegankelijker te maken. Tot slot zullen de Staatssecretarissen zich bezighouden met het opnieuw uitbrengen van de Cultuurkrant.

Country President

My main goal is achieved, we are trial member of EDEN! We've got a lot of new allies and friends which we can be thankful for. They are here for us and we are there for them.
In the mean time, the other Ministries have done great work. They've worked independently and responsibly. I'm very proud of them! Keep the magic flowing and this'll be a great term.

Home Affairs

In previous months, eNetherlands has grown considerably in number of ingame citizens. Unfortunately, not all new (and older) players have yet found the way to our forum community. The upcoming period the Ministry of Home Affairs will aim at better communication towards as well as contacts with as many eNL citizens as possible. To achieve this, we will give a new impulse to the co-operation with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Coaching.

The forum part for new players will be screened with the ambition to make it more userfriendly and give better oversight. We will make a start with the inventory of and answering of Frequently Asked Questions on forum.

Besides that, we will continue the work already started in contacting forum members in the eNL Citizens group without link to their eRepublik account. Furthermore, we will investigate the possibilities of contacting forum members who have been inactive on forum for a longer period of time.

Finance

Our Ministry is currently working on a new Finance sheet. It will be more userfriendly than the 'old' version. It can be found here: http://tiny.cc/eNL-Finance

Furthermore, we are planning to contact Q5 Weapons producers and Q5 Food producers to talk about the option of the state buying part of their stock in order to increase the overall stock when needed. We are still looking at this option, and it’s not completed yet.

Defense

The Ministry of Defense will work this term on finishing the work done by previous Governments. Some matters needs some finetuning or expansion. Next to that, there is a need to document the procedures globally, so next Ministers can continue the work more smoothly.

Our stock needs further expansion, so we can supply our soldiers on important battles.

We will do our best to setup a Military Council, in order to guarantee quality and procedures for our army in the future.

Foreign Affairs

In the past week the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been busy closing mpp’s with strong allies like Romenia, Bulgaria, Greece and Ireland and the continuation of the mpp with USA. Relations with strong Eden countries have been enhanced. The same goes for relations with EDEN Head Quarters, which are essential since we have been accepted as trial member.

Also, relations with Croatia have become even more close and we made new friends in Egypt, thanks to the Croatic population living there. Finally, we made new connections in Taiwan, Portugal, and Argentina.

Education, Culture and Coaching

This month, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Coaching, together with the Ministry of Home Affairs, will go through the entire portfolio with a critical eye. This means the renewal of tutorials, making them easier accessible and make new ones. As indicated already by the Ministry of Home Affairs we have ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ on the agenda, short help documents, for new players who run into concrete questions and are not (yet) interested in reading lengthy articles.

We will also try to re-instate the coaching system, be it somewhat simplified. Furthermore we will deliberate on how to make our forum, heart of our country, more accessible. Finally, the State secretaries will focus on publishing again the Culture Newspaper.
