Beste burgers van eNederland,

Dit is de laatste reguliere update van het kabinet-Garmr III. Vandaag zijn de officiële presidentsverkiezingen, maar zoals – hopelijk – bekend, hebben we van tevoren al een stemming op het forum gehouden om een president te kiezen. De winnaar van deze stemming is de scheidende president Garmr, die dus de enige verkiesbare kandidaat is. De verwachting is dat de scheidend en aankomend president binnenkort met zijn nieuwe kabinet zal komen. Houd daarvoor de media en het forum in de gaten.

De revolutie
Zoals vermeld in mijn vorige artikel, zijn veel mensen in opstand gekomen tegen de admins. Er zijn nu verschillende oorlogen gesloten als pressiemiddel tegen de admins, maar er lijkt nog geen gesloten front te zijn.

Intussen gaat het censureren van onwelgevallige uitingen gewoon door, al is er een sprankje hoop voor de toekomst: een van de admins, George Lemnaru, is een discussie aangegaan naar aanleiding van een ingame artikel, waarin advies aan de admins wordt gegeven. Het is natuurlijk afwachten of dit de nieuwe toon van de admins is of dat dit een uniek en onherhaald geval zal blijven.

Na deze algemene berichten volgt nu het overzicht van de werkzaamheden van de verschillende departementen.



Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken

De afgelopen week zijn er meerdere informatieve artikelen verschenen om de bevolking op de hoogte te houden van ontwikkelingen. Daarnaast wordt natuurlijk de immigratiedienst zorgvuldig bestuurd.

Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken

Na de oproep om je mening te laten horen over het al dan niet toetreden tot een bondgenootschap, zijn tot nu toe veel stemmen uitgebracht in de forum-poll. Op dit moment is een meerderheid van 63% voor toetreding, maar je kunt je stem nog laten horen.

Daarnaast worden er verschillende ambassades opgestart; heb je interesse, neem dan contact op met de minister van Buitenlandse Zaken of de president.

Ministerie van Oorlog

Na de aankondiging van vorige week is nu de reorganisatie van de Nederlandse strijdkrachten voltooid. Zie dit artikel voor een overzicht van de wijzigingen. Meer details zullen binnenkort bekend worden gemaakt op het forum. Als je vragen hebt of wilt toetreden tot een bepaalde legereenheid, neem dan contact op met de minister of de staatssecretaris.

Dear citizens of the eNetherlands,

This will be the last regular update from the third Garmr cabinet. The official presidential elections are today, but, as you hopefully know, there was a vote on the forum beforehand to choose a president. The winner of this vote is the departing president Garmr, who will be the only presidential candidate. The reelected president is expected to present his new cabinet soon, so keep watching the media and the forum.

The revolution
As reported in my previous article, many players are revolting against the admins. Various wars have been closed as a means of putting pressure on the admins, but there doesn’t seem to be a closed front on this measure.

Meanwhile, censorship of unwelcome articles continues, but there is a spark of hope for the future, as one of the admins, George Lemnaru, has entered a discussion in response to an in-game article which gives advice to the admins. It is yet to be seen if this is the admins’ new attitude, or if this will turn out to be a unique and unrepeated action.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs

After the call to tell us what you think of joining an alliance, many of you have cast a vote in the forum poll. At this moment, a majority of 63% is in favor of joining an alliance, but you can still give your opinion.

In addition, several foreign embassies are in the process of being restarted; if you’re interested in a job, please contact the Minister of Foreign Affairs or the president.
