[ESTERI] Macedonia: analisi e intervista

Salve a tutti, in qualità di supervisore dell’area Aurora (oltre che vMoFA) vi presento oggi un Paese che può considerarsi tra i cardini dell’alleanza; paese amico che ci ha aiutato in momenti difficili e composto da molte persone che io personalmente stimo: la Macedonia.
In questo articolo darò informazioni su questo Paese a cui seguirà un'intervista ad un esponente principale della loro community. Buona lettura!



Bene, la Macedonia, membro di Aurora sin dalla nascita, è da sempre in guerra con la Grecia per motivi che fanno anche parte della sfera reale: già da tempo si discute tra i rispettivi Stati sul nome. In realtà, secondo i geografi, si intende con il nome di Macedonia quella vasta area della penisola balcanica suddivisa fra FYROM, Grecia, Bulgaria e Albania. Per questo motivo, ad un vertice NATO la Grecia ha posto il veto ad un ingresso nell’alleanza per la Macedonia in quanto ritengono che il nome non risulti adeguato all’area geografica che costituisce (la stessa di quella del gioco), proponendo quindi come denominazione ufficiale l’acronimo FYROM (Former Yugoslav Republic Of Macedonia). Da qui una serie di controversie che si stanno portando avanti anche nel gioco.



Fatta questa precisazione doverosa passiamo all'analisi della loro situazione su eRepublik. Hanno al momento un numero esiguo di regioni in rapporto alla loro potenza bellica: da un lato a causa della continua guerra con la Grecia che logora notevolmente il loro danno, dall’altra a causa della difficile situazione geopolitica in cui si trovano (come noi dopotutto), che lascia pochissimi sbocchi per una possibile espansione territoriale.
La popolazione è distribuita in modo abbastanza omogeneo: 45,4% di D1, 22,6% in D2, 20,6 in D3 ed infine un buon 11,4% in D4 (in Italia sono il 7,4😵. Detto ciò, fanno un danno settimanale medio intorno ai 50 miliardi, quindi oltre 3 volte il nostro; le principali MU sono la storica Macedonian Army e l’altrettanto famoso MTO NationaL ForcE che assieme fanno oltre la metà del danno del Paese.
A livello politico troviamo anche qui due partiti principali: il TMORO-VEP primo nella classifica per numero di iscritti ed Obedineta eMakedonija; a livello di composizione del Congresso non si possono avere dati in quanto è mancato per il mese scorso.





Detto questo passiamo all’intervista: ho contattato il MoFA ivan.sk, che ringrazio per la velocità nel rispondere, e questo è ciò che è uscito dai nostri messaggi.

Ciao Ivan, prima di tutto dicci qualcosa della tua vita in RL: quanti anni hai, qual è il tuo lavoro ed i tuoi hobby, e che dire la tua filosofia di vita?
Ciao, sono solo un normale studente di 20 anni di legge, che esce con i suoi amici, ascolta musica e gioca a giochi stupidi come questo.

Ok, cominciamo parlando del gioco: sei un un grande tank nel tuo Paese, uno dei maggiori; cosa pensi sia necessario (oltre al denaro) per diventare influenti come te?
Beh, io non mi definirei un grande tank, uno medio, forse. Sto solo cercando di aiutare il mio Paese a progredire. Se qualcuno vuole essere influente nel suo Paese, dovrà essere politicamente attivo e saper comunicare con la gente. O semplicemente fare il tank!

Sei MoFA, lo sono stato anche io come te. Qual è la tua opinione su questo incarico e perché pensi che gli esteri siano così importanti per un giovane giocatore che ha in programma di giocare a eRepublik?
Ebbene, l'apparato attuale è di gran lunga migliore di quello che ha praticamente distrutto le vecchie relazioni con i nostri alleati e quindi penso che ora siamo sulla strada giusta. Gli affari esteri non sono interessanti per tutti i giocatori. Se un nuovo giocatore vuole essere più attivo in questo campo, a mio parere prima ha bisogno di imparare come i vari Paesi lavorino tra di loro , come sono i rapporti e, probabilmente, comincerei dandogli una posizione da vMoFA.

Cosa ne pensi della riconciliazione con la Grecia, è fattibile? Ci sono alcuni modi per rendere possibile?
Penso che la tregua sia possibile tra i nostri Paesi. E' accaduto in passato, quando eravamo più forti. Ma hanno alcune richieste folli che il mio popolo non accetterà mai. Quindi, purché ci siano gli estremi per una tregua, ciò non accadrà.

Il vostro paese (come il nostro) non è in eRepublik geograficamente fortunato, avete tentato di conquistare il Canada, come noi con la Norvegia; quali saranno le vostre prossime mosse per ottenere più territori?
Il motivo principale per cui abbiamo fatto un Air Strike è stato quello di liberare il Regno Unito da forze ostili. Poi è capitata l’occasione ed abbiamo attaccato la Cina, poi siamo andati in Canada. Non abbiamo avuto il Congresso negli ultimi 3-4 mesi, quindi dopo le elezioni potremmo focalizzare il nostro obiettivo su altri posti ma non posso discuterne qui.

Stiamo arrivando alla fine, non ti spaventare. Il tuo Paese è uno dei più influenti di Aurora, quali sono i rapporti tra le altre nazioni? Pensi che il sogno Aurora stia giungendo al termine?
Beh i rapporti con i Paesi (come ho detto sopra) il mese scorso erano terribili quindi da questo punto di vista stiamo migliorando e cercando di riparare al danno fatto nell'ultimo periodo. A proposito di Aurora, non credo che finirà nei prossimi 2-3 mesi, fino a quando non verrà fatto un grande cambiamento nelle alleanze.

Ultima domanda: qual è la tua opinione sul nostro Paese e sulla nostra comunità, nel gioco e anche in RL?
Nella vita reale io adoro l'Italia e ci sono stato diverse volte. E 'un grande paese da esplorare, pieno di storia e non posso dimenticare il cibo! Infatti il mio piatto preferito è la pizza. Ingame, penso che l'Italia abbia un potenziale maggiore di quello che sta mostrando; credo che avrete bisogno di lavorare su alcune cose interne per progredire e se riusciste ad ottenere un BabyBoom, il vostro Paese fiorirebbe.

Hello everyone, as supervisor of Aurora area (besides dMoFA) I present to you today a country that is considered among the cornerstones of the alliance; friendly country that has helped us in difficult times and made up of many people that I personally esteem: Macedonia.
In this article I will give information on this country to be followed by an interview with a leading exponent of their community. Good reading!



Well, Macedonia, Aurora member since birth, has always been at war with Greece for reasons that are also part of the real sphere: for some time discussed between the respective states on the name. In fact according to geographers is meant by the name of Macedonia that vast area of the Balkan peninsula divided between FYROM, Greece, Bulgaria and Albania. For this reason during a NATO summit Greece voted an input in the alliance for Macedonia as they believe that the name is not showing adeguate geographical area which is (the same as that of the game), so as proposing name the acronym FYROM (Former Yugoslav Republic Of Macedonia). From here a series of controversies that are being carried out in the game.



Beside this necessary clarification, let's speak of their situation on eRepublik. They have at the time a small number of regions in relation to their military power: on the one hand because of the ongoing war with Greece that wears considerably their damage, on the other because of the difficult geopolitical situation in which they find themselves (like us after all), that leaves very few outlets for a possible territorial expansion.
The population is distributed fairly evenly: 45.4% in D1, D2 in 22.6%, 20.6 in D3 and finally a good 11.4% in D4 (in Italy they are 7.4). That said they do damage weekly average of around 50 billion, and more than 3 times ours; the main MU are: the historical Macedonian Army and the not less famous MTO NationaL ForcE that together make more than a half of the total MKD damage.
At the political level we also find here two main parties: the TMORO-VEP first in the classify for number of members and Obedineta eMakedonija, at the composition level of the Congress you can not have data on what was insufficient for the last month.





Having said that we pass to the interview, I contacted their MoFA ivan.sk, whom I thank for the speed in responding, and this is what came out from our posts.

Hi Ivan, first of all tell us something about your real life: how old are you, what's your job and your hobbies, and what about your philosophy of life?
I'm just a regular 20 years old law student, who wants to hang out with his friends, listen to music and play foolish games like this one.

Ok, let's start talking about the game: you're a great tank in your country, one of the strongest; what do you think to be required (in addition to the cash) to become influent like you?
Well, I wouldn't call myself a great tank, a medium one maybe. I'm just trying to help my country to progress. If anyone wants to be influential in its country, the person will need to be politicaly active and to know how to communicate with the people. Or simply to tank!

You're MoFA, I've been MoFA too. What's your opinion about this office and why do you think foreign affairs are so important for a young player who plans to play eRepublik?
Well, the current office is by far better than the previous one who practically destroyed the relations with our allies so I think now we're on the right way.
Foreign Affairs are not suited for all players. If a new player wishes to be more active in this field, in my opinion first he needs to learn how the countries work with eachother, how are the relations between them and probably give him like a dMoFA position.

What do you think about reconciliation with Greece, is it possible? Are there some ways to make it possible?
I think that truce is possible between the both countries. It has happened in the past when we were stronger. But they have some insane demands which my people will never agree to. So as long as they have those demands a truce will not happen.

Your country (like ours) isn't in a lucky geographical position; you tried to conquer Canada, like us with Norway; what will be your next steps to obtain more territories?
The main reason we did an Air Strike was to liberate the United Kingdom from the hostile forces there. Then an opportunity arived and we attacked China, then Canada. We haven't had Congress the past 3-4 months so after the elections pass we might focus our target to other places though I can't discuss that here.

We're coming to te end, don't be afraid. Your country is one of the most influent in Aurora, what are the relationships between other countries? Do you think that the dream Aurora is coming to the end?
Well, the relationships with the countries like I said above last month were terrible so during this term we are improving what damage was done the last term. About Aurora, I don't think it will end in the next 2-3 months, not until a big shift in alliances is made.

Last question: what's your opinion about our country and community, in the game and also in RL?
In real life I absolutely love Italy and have been there several times. It's a great country to explore, all the history and I can't forget the food. Plus my favourite food is pizza! Ingame I think Italy has more potential then you're showing. I guess you'll need to work on some internal stuff to progress and normally if you could get a BabyBoom your country will flourish.
