Essential Learning for New Players and Everyone

Dateline: Sunday April 9 2023 (Day 5619 )
Ya never know what’s gonna pop up in government media these days. While I’m scratchin’ for writers to put up some fresh tutorials, there’s a wealth of great material that’s really not that old and is probably just fine…

The Daily Challenge has 26 missions. Completing a mission will give you Activity Points (AP) & Prestige Points (PPs). There are a total of 177 APs & 531 PPs.

APs are used to unlock the “crates”. There are 5 Crates. @20 APs the 1st crate is unlocked, @40 APs the 2nd, etc with all 5 unlocked @100 APs. While you can earn over 100 APs there are no additional rewards for the extra APs.

Here is what is in the 5 crates:

@ 20 AP: +2 Strength, 1 Overtime Point, 10 Food Raw Material (RM), 1 Bazooka Part & 100 cc
@40 AP: 1 x2 Damage Accelerator, 1 Overtime Point, 15 Food RM, 1 Bazooka Part & 200 cc
@60 AP: 1 Ghost Booster, 1 Overtime Point, 25Weapon RM, 1 Bazooka Part, 300 cc
@80 AP: 1 Fuel, 1 Overtime Point, 1 House RM, 1 Bazooka Part, 400 cc
@100 AP: 1 Energy Bar 1 Overtime Point, 1 Aircraft Weapons RM. 1 Bazooka Part, 500 cc

I recommend first figuring out how many APs you earn from your current activities. Then look at the ones that may be cheap for you to do: Travel, Buy something on the market, buy some gold. If you are not in D4 and currently only fighting in Air, think about fighting on the ground to get BHs (can be done with very little energy or no energy if just using a bomb . For the missions that may be more expensive, decide if the cost is worth the reward.
Now for the missions

Work (5 AP, 15 PP) – As a Manager or as an Employee

Work Overtime (5 AP, 15 PP) – easy if have a Q1 house if you don’t then get one (see eUS housing program erepublik.com/en/article/2750744)

Train (5 AP, 15 PP) – just need to use the Free Training Center

Train Hard (10 AP, 30 PP) – requires using all 4 of the Training Centers – if not currently doing this it may not be worth the cost (2.87g G – partially offset by gold from Super Soldier)

Spend 1000 energy (15 AP, 45 PP) – fight, work, train – all count
Travel (10 AP, 30 PP) – any distance – be sure to not waste a moving ticket on short moves (can set your default to use cash – see erepublik.com/en/main/citizen-edit/edit_game_options - 3rd option from the bottom). If your residence is in the east, travel cost can be very low to an adjacent state.

Exchange currency (10 AP, 30 PP) - Any amount – e.g. could be 0.01G

Buy 1 product from the Marketplace (5 AP, 15 PP) – can be anything – e.g. 1 Q1 Food
Combat related missions

Spend 3 Fuel (5 AP, 15 PP) – Just use fuel in 3 Deploys – if normally don’t fight that many times can do so with very little energy (0 with a Bomb, 10 with Bazooka or stinger, 20 with no weapon or any Q of weapon – see details in Fight with Weapons mission below)

Fight Meaningful Battle (10 AP, 30 PP) – use 250 energy in a battle which is either the Campaign of the Day or one of your MU Daily Orders – here’s a link to see these battles erepublik.com/en/military/campaigns#search/dailyOrder+campaignOfTheDay)

Fight with Weapons (5 AP, 15 PP) – Stingers & Bazookas do NOT count for this. If (like me) you normally do not fight with weapons then this may not be worth doing – if you want to do this mission the cheapest way to do this is set your energy to 20 when you deploy and then keep clicking on “Start Deploy” until it works. You will likely get “Not Enough Energy to Fight” several times until it finally works. At current prices the cheapest ground weapon to use is a Q3 (would use 2/3rds of a Q3 per day for ~4.25 cc if use Q7s would use 1/5th of Q7 for ~16.2 cc) for air the cheapest option is AQ5 (would use 2/5ths of a AQ5 per day for ~326 cc). Cost based on current market prices.

Win Hero Medals (15 AP, 45 PP) – BH/SH or Campaign Hero. If you are in D1, D2, or D3 then getting a BH should be easy – many go unclaimed.

Activate Boosters (5 AP, 15 PP)
– not worth activating an air booster for this but you(like me) might have a lot of the 10 minute 50% Damage Booster from the Power Spin. Also if you travel to another country with an active battle you can activate a Ghost Booster (which every day you can get a new one from the 3rd Crate).

Fight with Special Weapons (10 AP, 30 PP) – use 1 Bomb or Rocket – You may have plenty of small bombs from the Power spin. If you do not have any bombs it is probably not worth it to build a rocket (~1200 cc to buy the weapons needed to build a Q1 Rocket)
Company related mission

There are 12 missions involving owning companies – if currently not doing some of these it may not be worth the cost to start – if you do buy a new factory it would be a good idea to wait for Black Friday discount before upgrading – if not familiar with Companies you should get advice as to what to buy and where to place it. Another reason to wait is to see what the effect of the daily challenge is going to have on the economy – the extra RM and the incentive to have employees and start more companies.

Produce 10 Food RM (2 AP, 6 PP)
Produce 10 Weapons RM (3 AP, 9 PP)
Produce 1 House RM (5 AP, 15 PP)
Produce 1 Air Craft RM (5 AP, 15 PP)
Produce 200 Food (2 AP, 6 PP)
Produce 20 Weapons (3 AP, 9 PP)
Produce 1 House (15 AP, 45 PP) – note I have been told you have to produce all of the house in one day & just not finish the production of a house
Produce 5 Air Weapons (5 AP, 15 PP)
Assign 1 Employee (2 AP, 6 PP)
Assign 2nd Employee (4 AP, 12 PP)
Assign 3rd Employee (6 AP, 18 PP)
Assign 4th & 5th Employee (10 AP, 30 PP)
