Greetings fellow eDutch citizens and DRP members,

In just a few days the Country Presidential Election will begin! On the 5th of June, citizens across our eNation will go to the polls and vote for who they want to lead the government over the next month. There are three candidates vying for your votes on Election Day: Cody Caine, Kordak, and briepe. I ask that you, the voters, support Cody Caine on Election Day.

As a party, we will be supporting Cody Caine for several key reasons.

Firstly, one of the most important qualities one needs to be a successful CP is to be active. We know Cody will be very active on IRC, the forums, and in-game as well in order to accomplish this. He has the motivation to be Country President. He isn’t running just because he likes the idea of being President and is bored during the summer with a lot of time on his hands in real life. He wants to fix things and improve the current status of the eNetherlands.

We also support continuing to keep good relations with Sirius and Aurora and pro-Sirius/Aurora nations and to take that final step in trying to get trial membership in the Aurora alliance. There is no question that Cody Caine is the candidate that supports that and has emphasised that in his articles announcing his candidacy.

The DRP, as a party, is all about the community, developing a strong community, and having events and competitions for the players. Cody Caine has pledged to make this an important part of his term if elected and has also recruited Tim Veltkamp and GEN. DE LA REY in his cabinet to keep the Trout Competitions going and some new ideas as well.

Lastly, the recent war with eNorway showed that while some good reforms have been made in the military of the eNetherlands, there is still some work to be done. Cody Caine is focused on promoting an active, efficient, and unified military and introduced his plan to create joint strikes for all players to be able to partake in and to better direct damage in battles that the eNetherlands needs to show up in.
