[DoEE] Interview with Albeck, CP Candidate

Day 2,689, 13:46 Published in Australia Australia by Merovingiano

Hello fellow eAustralians,

With the election coming in just 3 days, I set out to interview each of the candidates for Country President (CP). I tried to create questions that couldn't be answered with vague or obvious answers. I really wanted to push for detailed answers about Australia's current political landscape and how the candidate views said landscape. I hope these interviews will shed some light on these candidates and allow for more informed voters.

Without further ado, our first interview is with Albeck. Albeck is running with the support of the Australian National Party.

Why do you want to be CP?

"As I told you before, I was not planning to run for CP. There are more reasons, but the main one is I think it is a job for much more experienced players. The plan was to support someone from ANP or someone who would bring something different then other candidates who decided to run for presidency. As most of you know I strongly support Callumh123 and was looking for someone with similar point of view. Basically what I want to say, I am running to offer eAus citizens an alternative; someone who do not support dictator or cooperation with foreign PTO forces."

What do you bring to the table as CP? What qualifies you for the job?

"I am very active player, although little bit quite these days in senate thread, just because I do not want to bring more chaos and fights. Unfortunately there are lot of people there who cannot accept the fact that there are people who thinks differently. Isn't that the point of politics? As I mentioned before, I am not experienced player and in any other circumstances I would not run for this position. And because of that I plan to surround myself with experienced people willing to advice me and to work for better and democratic eAustralia."

As CP, what policy do you plan on focusing on the most?

"A lot of people will see contradiction in this, but the most important thing right now is to bring eAussies together. We are divided nation now, that is a fact and there are a lot of people who are thinking to move somewhere else because of that. A lot of people will not support my decisions or me, but I do not think that should mean we need to fight or insult each other. So in this situation that would be most important thing. Of course, foreign affairs and finding possible solutions for our problem with Spanish horde are also very important."

What is your stance on our current dictator XenthuS and Varnish?

"I am strongly against any cooperation with dictator. You may ask why? Well, just remember, he PTOed us and took power against our will. Nobody wanted him, nobody elected him. He can say whatever he wants but the fact he PTOed us enough. Also, take a look at our party rankings. If they are here to integrate with us and help us to make this country bigger, stronger and more important then they wouldn't have their own party, filled with people we didn't let in. They forced themselves here. If you just take a look around world and what people write in their newspapers you will see how they are confused with our situation. Selling yourself and your pride, just for some hope they can make us more important is against everything I believe. For me, this will be a real referendum about cooperation with PTOers."

What are your views on our relationship with ePeru?

"From my first term in senate I noticed they are not our friends. You all remember they told us to rent them regions or they will wipe us. Is that what friends do? I voted against any deal with them in Rusty˙s term. Things are still the same. They are mess, they are not even on the same page about what they should do. Before they solve their internal problems it would be hard to have serious negotiations with them."

Feel free to refrain from this question, but who do you have in mind for your cabinet?

"There are a lot of people who are doing a great job last few months. I do not see any reasons why should I change anything in departments like education and information who are doing what they need to do. Department of Foreign Affairs is one I would need to be very careful with. I need people who I trust and who believe in same things like I do."

Are you in favor of a forum based Senate?

"Yes, I am. I support this idea from the day one. To be honest, I can't see reason why would anyone be against that. Well, except those who have multies."

It is undeniable that Australia is lacking when it comes to drawing in new players. How do you plan on bringing in new players to Australia?

"There are a lot of people who changed their CS and now are fighting under different flag. We need to bring back those people and stop people from leaving this country. That would be priority. Of course we need a fresh blood here, but before putting an effort to attract them we need a strategy on how to keep them in this game once they registered. When we do that we can start spamming forums and beg portals to publish articles about this game."

Anything else you'd like to say?

"I would like to thank Mero for this interview and also if anyone has any other question feel free to PM me."

Thus concludes our interview with Albeck. I'd like to thank him for his quick response to my request.

Rusty D will be our next and final candidate being interviewed in the next article.  When asked for an interview JackTrout explained, "I will be happy to do an interview when I am actually running. That (endorsement) was just Guag taking the piss (and scaring hell out of me, I might add)."

Don't forget to read our interview with the other candidate Rusty D
