[CP] Aries II: Poland, Tequila, and Medals!

Poland

I know many of you are upset about only have one region when we are required two by the treaty we have in place. The reason for this is because Poland is currently at war with Hungary and does not want to risk getting cutoff from their path to our oil. They have still been diligent in paying back our tax revenue. We will have our second region back before congress elections for sure.

To appease us Poland has decided to give us 1k Q7 for the wait. This is certainly well accepted by us and makes it a little easier to bear the weight of only having one region. We are trying to keep a healthy relationship, and I think this gesture is a great step towards growing and maintaining that relationship.

That being said, with this tournament in motion it would not be strange if we ended up reclaiming South or East NL. I watched the West NL battle and saw how many of you were eager to fight. For now we will be focusing on the airstrike, but if it happened that we RWd South or East NL back, then it wouldn’t be the end of the world. It is still technically our right to control one of those two regions and we have simply been trying to play nice with Poland.





Tequila!

We are working with USA and Mexico to help them with a region deal they have. This involves us airstriking Baja and drinking tequila when we get there. The basic plan is for us to take over Baja, attack California, lose, and then lose Baja. It will be a fun 2-3 day event that will greatly help us in the National Shield tournament. I hope everyone is as excited as I am about this and fights hard.

To be clear, this is a region deal between USA and Mexico. We have already been payed for the costs of the airstrike. USA will be tanking to win the battles for us while all we have to do is sit back and have some fun. All we are doing is helping these two countries along with their region deal, otherwise we don't have to worry about anything : )

I’ve also proposed that one gold be given for every 100% contribution a citizen reaches in this tournament. We will be making a lot of gold in this tournament, and I believe it is our duty to give back. I’ll give you more details on how we end up deciding to do the gold giveaway.



Medals

I’m awarding an Orde van Oranje Nassau Ridder medal to Wilpanzer for his recent 10k donation in light of the mercenary scandal. He came to me of his own accord to pay for a government mess without anyone asking. It is for this honorable and generous act that I award him this medal.

An honorable mention to Crusader33 for his 25k donation. He left his money to the state and quit.
