It's been a busy month rl and I've honestly been a bit tired and bored with this.. I was looking and it's been 3 wks since I wrote last, I sometimes forget that you all aren't there when we discuss things and make plans. I'll try to do better this month keeping you informed of what's going on.

Canada

We NE'd them yesterday, we'll be resetting determination on the regions we normally hold. At 1.32 it's a little high and can make the RW's difficult. If things go smoothly and they don't intentionally make it more expensive than it should be.. we will return to our little corner and let them easily take back what we have taken.

We returned Newfoundland and Labrador a week or so ago to give them an external border and war with people other than us. They currently have a TW with our Irish allies.

There seems to be a little renewed discussion there on an "official" deal, but I wouldn't count on it. Unofficially.. Albania hangs out in it's little corner and we mostly leave each other alone. Although the battles yesterday made 4 in a row that there have been co's on their side, the first we've seen in 2 months probably. :/

Hard to say how this goes.. we'll see.

Focus on the direct battles the next few days, we will need to lose Prince Ed Isl, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia RW's to reset the determination. Other than those we will try to hold everything until the war closes.

France

We actually reached a 4 region deal with them during the war, but after thinking about it and looking at some allied needs coming up at the time, I didn't want to be burdened with an extra RW on top of other potential wars. We did come out of it on good terms though and maybe at some point in the future we do a TW and pick up an extra bonus or two.

Allies

If you look around.. look at the map a little.. things are not so good for our "side" right now. Almost everyone is under siege, several traditional co people have pulled back and the never ending Balkan "we are on the same side but can't be allies let's fight" nonsense is tiresome. It's more important now than ever that we use our damage as effectively as possible.

It's a rough guess.. but I'd say probably 70% of the BH's out there don't involve Albania or it's MPP'd allies. There is no real excuse or reason to fight against an ally. If you fight against an ally, you hurt Albania.. 70%, look for another battle. There are plenty of opportunities out there without doing that, it's never ok. If you're not playing for your country and your friends then why are you playing at all? I don't understand..

Don't waste damage and don't fight against allies.

CP Election

I've spoken to Dalmatian Warlord and Besforce.. neither has been all that involved until recently and I think I've seen 1 article between the two of them so far, but both seem eager enough and I'd really love to see more active Albanians in government. I've received the assurances I need from both and will leave it in your hands to choose between the two.
